These were printed from her suggested lab, and you can see the faces are so light it's hard to see. I was really disappointed because none of the the images of the ceremony were worth printing out ( lesson learned don't have a wedding at 4pm in the summer- it's too bright) but even all these photos ( taken in the shade) were still very light. I don't recommend this service since they don't provide re-edits and don't seem to know how to deal with outdoor weddings.

My wife and I are very disappointed with the results of our wedding pictures. The photos that we…read morereceived were over-exposed to the point where the groomsmen and bridesmaids' facial features were lost in the majority of outdoor shots. Much of the lace detail on my wife's dress was washed out in pictures and the dress appeared to be white even though it has a blush tone. This issue, along with others, was evident throughout the vast majority of the photos we received. There was lots of natural light at our church as well as the reception venue (often ideal for portrait photography). The exposure could have been addressed manually on the DSLR camera, or by simply adjusting the exposure, saturation, and balance during the editing process. The concerns we raised were met with excuses and justifications as to why the photos were so washed out and over-exposed. All in all, it was certainly not the experience that we expected or hoped for. Unfortunately, after posting reviews on Google and WeddingWire, Nicole has mentioned pursuing legal action against my wife and me multiple times unless we take them down (this is factual, not libel). We aren't ones to typically post negative reviews, but we just want others to be aware of our experience with Nicole Sarah Photography. This review was posted simply to share information about the type of product/customer service that we received.

I booked her in July after shopping around for a few months. We had a relatively expensive destination wedding and I wanted to make sure we picked early as there aren't many photographers willing to go to Banff. She had great reviews so we went ahead and put down a deposit. She was fine about communicating before the wedding and up until the event. Day before due to weather we couldn't shoot outside (it was a blizzard) so we decided to do a longer indoor family/bridal party shoot and then photos around Fairmont of myself and my husband. We made sure she had dinner and a place to sit, and let her go for the night whenever she had enough photos of the dancing. She moved family photographers out of the way to get her shots and we trusted her, since we were paying over $3000 for a day of photos. She said we would have photos as soon as 2 weeks after the wedding as "proofs" when we spoke on the phone before I put down a deposit. That never happened. I don't use social media, but about a month after the wedding I found she posted photos of the wedding without my consent on her pages, before she sent me those photos. Not a big deal, but if she had the photos uploaded and on social media, I would have appreciated her asking permission first and sending me the photos. I waited almost 2 months to get the photos in a downloadable folder. Communication plummeted after the wedding and response times were regularly 1 week+. I asked for the unedited photos as well. The folder of family and group photos was full of completely unusable, blurry images. I'm not talking slightly out of focus, sure, put it in a nice frame and it'll look fine type of blurry- these are so blurry that they are in worse quality than my grandmother's wedding photos from the 50's in a 3rd world village! My best guess is that she only has a fixed prime lens that she used the whole night so she couldn't focus the camera from a distance or add light to photos and the overexposure/lens settings blurred all the images. I emailed her back asking her to remove the edits and send me proofs. To this day, I have not received ANY unedited photos. I also asked for a partial refund, as the entire family portrait session is unusable- per her deliverables in the contract they must be reasonable enough quality to be on a 5x7" print and this is not the case. She offered prints and said that sending me 11x14 4x was a $460 value but putting a blurry picture on fancy paper and a high DPI printer can't solve the underlying problem. I get it, she's a nice lady, she's trying, but she cannot and should not be hired for weddings. I'm heartbroken to have paid a TON of money for this wedding and have no photos from it. Thank god for my uncles and aunts who brought their own DSLRs and iPhones!

Her personality is contagious and her photography is stunning. During the engagement session she worked with us to create some beautiful images that captured who we are. Anita took on a documentary style of photography for our wedding. She was always watching and was able to capture some breath taking images that were full of emotion. When we received our wedding photos there were some photos that brought me to tears because the moments were captured so perfectly. She is not only a great photographer, or an extremely kind person, but she is also a storyteller. She will tell your story without missing a beat. If you're about to hire a photographer for a major event, please have as much transparency as possible up front. When we confronted cineart photography about our disappointment, she resorted to name calling and insulting. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I presumed they'd be too booked during the summer -- with weddings and all -- but they were very accommodating and were able to fit me in within a couple of weeks. Having been shot by many photographers for acting head shots throughout the years, I can tell you that the process is not always an effortless one. You're vulnerable and exposed when being the subject of a shoot -- and Chad and Erin are an incredibly professional couple who are amazing to work with, and who completely put you at ease. They both have incredible humor; they're both intelligent and observant, and immediately create an atmosphere of safety and respect -- and yet, they make it "OK" to "play", experiment, and work your way out of your comfort zone -- as much or as little as you wish. I'll be honest: there will be a little bit of sticker shock. For wedding packages, maybe not so much. For promo shots -- it's a little higher than I'm accustomed to paying -- but I''ll tell you this: when I came back for the "viewing" of the shots, they were so incredible, I was willing to give them my car and my newly-adopted dog, too, They are the most flattering -- yet honest -- shots I've ever had taken, and are worth every penny. They are slick, magazine-editorial-caliber shots, which also have captured me in a very honest way. I doubt I will ever use any other photographers. They are the very best in their industry,
