I had never been through a kitchen reno before and Shawn and her professional team made it all turn out fantastic. Shawn is easy to consult and communicate with, has fabulous space and material ideas. She also honored my unique style. The install of new custom cabinets, butcher block counters and other items ( new lights, ceilings, paint etc) worked out great. My space went from a very tired dark look to bright and wow! The kitchen function is much improved as well. I highly recommend Shawn and Align Design.

My first meeting with Tiffany was pleasant and professional. I described the screened porch I…read morewanted built onto the back of my home. I had been renovating this home since I purchased it three years prior. The porch was the final project. Tiffany asked questions and made notes while I spoke. At this point I was exhausted with all aspects of the renovation process but determined to see my original plan for a dream retirement home completed. When I received the blueprints I saw Tiffany had listened closely to my ramblings. She designed a porch that met and far exceeded my dreams. I couldn't have been happier, but now I needed a contractor. Enter Rick Prudhomme of The Prudent Home, Tiffany's husband and partner. What a terrific team. Rick is experienced, caring and a solid communicator. The best project manager I could have asked for. They worked together to make my dream a reality. The porch is a beautiful, functional addition to my home and will be enjoyed for many years to come. Well worth the time and cost involved. Thanks Tiffany and Rick!

Quite frankly, we never would have ended up with what turned out to be a magnificent home without Kris's excellent guidance. Our builder found her to be a "dream" to work with and often asked that she participate in our periodic walk-throughs. We cannot say enough good things about Kris and highly recommend her.

First, they charged us for an excessive number of hours to pick some fabrics and put together a layout of one room. Second, their measurements were clearly off, since the size of sofa and other pieces they suggested would have made it difficult to even get into the room. And last, when they priced out the sofa, we found we could save over $2000, buying from a local furniture store using the same fabrics with what appeared to us to be identical or better quality. In the end, we used almost nothing they provided, either with regard to the fabrics or the furniture. $4,000 wasted, as far as I'm concerned. My wife has used other decorators where we used to live in Charlotte. I think Ambiance would be the 4th or 5th. And this was the worst experience ever. Would not recommend.

Linda, with the contribution of Tessa Eaton (another Ambiance talent) designed a modified floor plan to enlarge the tiny baths, designed our dream kitchen, and also provided moral and artistic support. Our budget was tight and they respected that. Nevertheless great design is money well spent. We would have made a bunch of rookie mistakes by ourselves. Linda really "got" us but took our vision and made it so much more. I love the design for a coffee "garage". That's just one small example of the extra touches that will make this old wreck a super fun home. And to top it off, her color sense is dead on gorgeous.

They were such a joy to work with! They staged a house I had for sale in Asheville. From the very start their design sense really stood out. The staging combined the clean lines of modern elegance with functionality. The particular pieces of furniture and fixtures they chose captured the essence of a completely renovated 100-year old home. Best of all, Carla's and Simcha's joy really comes out in their customer service. They worked hand-in-hand with me, my realtor, and the contractor overseeing renovation. They always had great ideas, showed great thought and patience, and were very responsive in every way. I cannot imagine a better staging or interior design team in the Asheville area than A New Day Design.
