Wasted hours completing redundant paperwork on the first day because it is not routinely forwarded from the recruiter. Fix this. Create and maintain a professional and safe environment, requiring staff instructors to enforce - and abide by - published rules including the minimum dress code, smoking in designated areas, and a host of other rules instructors do not follow Distribute a current Georgia CDL manual, not the 2012 - nine years out of date - edition used in class. Update the list of required documents and items to bring. Avoid telling students they "MUST" bring specific items, and then never using them in class Physical Plant: Upgrade and maintain bathrooms, classrooms, and trucks so they are decent places to use and learn in each day (example images attached) Overhead projector? Really? Keep the grounds clean and maintained (example images attached) Keep the trucks clean and maintained (example images attached) Provide cleaning supplies for trucks when requested Instructors: Demonstrate the professionalism you request of students Be on time Introduce yourself Be polite and welcoming Avoid smoking in trucks and the shop (Non-smoking areas!) Avoid falling asleep in front of the class Keep current on industry trends and regulations. "They change the rules so much I can't keep up" - commonly heard and unacceptable from a professional instructor Track course requirements when completed to avoid wasting time Practice drawing skills to avoid repetitive claims of; "I'm not an artist." You're a teacher. Avoid all discussions including politics, sex, and religion (numerous completely inappropriate, unprofessional discussions while I attended) Improve personal appearance to model professionalism Learn the elements of teaching. TDI is in the teaching business, not the trucking business. Being a good truck driver is not enough. Critique is only one element of teaching. There are many more. Learn to speak English; "they be done already go'cha outta da' truck" is not acceptable for professional instructors

I had to go back and forth from the dean's office to housing office multiple times because of roommate problems and the people above me. It has caused me so much stress, I couldn't even be comfortable in my own room that I PAID FOR! It doesn't matter how many meetings you have or who you talk to, nothing is going to be fixed and it will all be on YOU. And they wonder why people fight and damn near burnout because nothing is being RESOLVED! Why am I doing your job?! They literally don't care about you and they love lying to students about things they can easily fix but CHOOSE not to. You get your own room BUT AT WHAT COST? It's costing my sanity for real! The campus grounds were immaculate. The cafeteria had many selections for students to choose, the only thing I would love for them to include on their buffet is more non dairy, vegetarian and vegan options. Every school I've attended has just asked to be provided with your JST (Joint Service Transcript) and I have been issues elective credits for the applicable courses/experience. Here they want you to provide all details of courses taken (Some from 1990s), describe them and then research and provide the course you want credit for. Mind you, all of my past transcripts from schools have those courses listed and the credits assigned. It makes it almost not worth it. I will more than likely be transferring to a more military friendly school to graduate from so that I can get my credits earned
