The dinng experience here is one of my all time favorite foodie experiences ever. There is a walk in wine locker where you can personally hand pick your bottle of wine, and that's just for starters. We took the Gordon River cruise (12 minute walk from the Ormiston House), the highlight being the tour of Sarah Island and the brief history lesson of its 1820's penal colony.

Their holiday cottage is gorgeous...cozy...with everything you may need and more. Touches like a freshly made loaf of bread...local ham and honey...bottle of wine all waiting for your arrival. The b and b os located minutes from ann the Stragan has to offer. The Gordon river cruise boats..the cute little village...coffee shops and pubs/ restos...and Strahan's very own local theatre company which puts on a fun and fascinating play regularly telling the story of Sarah Island where the 19th century penal colony used to be and the characters who stayed there.
