The doctor sends a order to this place for a durable medical device. One week later I call because I hear nothing. I get told there must be some mistake with what they put together because cost were high they would send it back to another department and have them redo it. They will call me back Monday. Two weeks go buy and I don't hear anything and I call. They still have no clue and say insurance is out of network. Which means nothing to me because I'm paying out of pocket anyway. So I call my insurance company who I turns calls Brenda back at this place while I'm on hold. She tells my insurance company she will get order through and call me. Well three things 1. She never called me 2. Sent my order back to my doctor 3. Tells my doctor some crazy story about insurance giving the run around. But little did she know I was on the phone when insurance called her. I purchase my equipment on line with a different company that wanted my money and business. And guess what they were out of network to and it all went through fine. I'd stay away from this company unless you just can't find anything else. There are companies that love money and insurance. That give you good customer service. But this surely isn't one. They don't communicate consistently - and sometimes not at all - when a scheduled caregiver won't be there, when they are replacing a scheduled caregiver with someone else, etc. Every time I complain they apologize and say they will make sure it doesn't happen again. Recently a manager explained that they were bringing scheduling or something in house, which was going to fix the problems. It absolutely has not. Just this week, there have been 2 overnight shifts no one showed up for and they never called to let us know no one was coming. The first time, my brother called 30 min past scheduled shift start to tell them know one showed - the person who answered said they would let him know if they could find a replacement but they never did. Last night, he left a message when no one showed up and they never called him back. I am actively looking for alternatives so we don't have to use them anymore.

Considering the times (COVID and continued staffing issues for ALL health care/medical entities) I knew this was going to be difficult. Amada came through like champs! Interviewed us to get a care plan in place to cover all of dad's needs, called to review the plan to make sure nothing had been missed, then sent me the most amazingly bright, cheery, knowledgeable, and professional caregiver to take care of dad and give me a break. She was so patient with me (I was too nervous)...dad's a jewel of a human being but his needs are bit intense (meds & restricted fluids) because timing is everything. Sonja didn't miss a beat. Amada Senior Care was truly accommodating, allowing me to set a pretty standard schedule for them to provide the Respite Care so I could schedule my own appointments ahead of time. Casey, the Physical Therapist and Eric, the Physical Therapy Assistant, have brought me a long way in a short time. I still have a little ways to go, but now I can definitely see the day where I'll be taking full care of myself without their help. I can even see the day where I can resume driving, which is my main goal, at this point. Tennessee Quality Care has a couple of gems in Casey and Eric, and I'm very grateful for their work in getting me back on my feet.
