It is nicely stocked for the size of the place. All the vital items like 2 for 2.50 pop, 2 for 3 buck giant Diet Snapple peach, cheap energy drinks and snacks galore. A great stop before work for sure. The gas here is usually one of the cheapest around, if not the cheapest. Just a tip, they will give you the cash price if you use your debit card inside. Handy for me as I hate charging gas yet also hate carrying too much cash, I live on my freaking debit.

I was desperately looking for a new ice scraper/snow brush for my car. Normally this isn't a tough…read moretask, especially in the dead of winter. BUT! For the month of January, I pledged to "shop local", so it wasn't as easy to just stop at Target or O'Reilly's. I figured I could find an overpriced scraper here, even though I knew it'd hurt to pay 15 bucks for a $6 scraper. I stopped into this independent gas station and much to my amusement, I found an entire rack of scrapers, all (somehow) affordably priced. The smallest ones were only $2, medium ones were $4 and full-size ones were only $7. My wallet was happy! In addition to the mighty ice scrapers, this gas station also has a badass selection of drinks, snacks and household items. I was seriously amazed at how organized and clean their displays were. Tl;dr: This service station has a great selection of auto stuff, drinks and snacks.

Easy in and out from the west side of the road. Plenty of room to navigate around the pumps too. As with most Firebirds, the convenience store attached is no big whoop. Just stick with gas here, but you can find the major brands of pop in a pinch. It's not terribly inviting but no frills is fine when I'm just filling up. As you can tell I am a fanatic about finding cheap gas. If you are too, start sharing!!!

So 2 miles down the road is this location which is near Value Center Food store on Harper at Metro Parkway or 16 Mile Road. The price today was $2.79.9 a bit higher than in Roseville but I needed to quickly top my tank off for the next 4 days. The NAME HERE is not Harper Fuel & Food as listed. According to the receipt I received at the pump, the new name is "Zunairah Fuels". I have reported this to Yelp and will see what happens?! I noticed in view of the parking lot while pumping gas that all the garbage cans were full at 5:30 pm on a Sunday. Then a black squirrel was searching in one of cans for his evening snack or meal. Also I noticed the containers for windshield solvent and a squeegee, to clean off one's front or back windshield was dried up and empty. LACK OF MAINTENANCE, management AND service here. I was glad to receive my receipt at the pump instead of having to go inside the store. I will NOT be returning here for Marathon Gas, therefore Strike # 2 of 3 in regards to service stations in this area. There was no time to take any photos of my viewing and comnents, since I was watching the people coming and going in here and my safety while pumping gas in a hurry.
