They've even got surprisingly good hot sandwiches. All the staff is really sweet and chatty but I may be developing a harmless crush on the adorable shy boy that works there. They also have 3 parking spots if you just need to pick up a coffee, newspaper, sandwich or whatever. I use them primarily for the excellent hand car wash and valet - quick, thorough and professional for a very reasonable price. Since I have a (by Brit standards) big SUV I have to pay the higher price but for a complete hand wash and dry, cleaning and vacuuming inside the prices is £15 - really not bad. Two thumbs up!

So this petrol station does not use any energy from electricity companies.. infact it generates its own electricity by solar panels installed on its roof. M&S shop and 3 counters. Slow service sometimes but ok. Not competitive on Fuel price side as the nearest Shell pump is cheaper but its on the other side of the road by PCworld. Only rate this site because its truly green site. well kind of. as it uses solar electricity. I hope all the stations are designed like this soon. This BP site got its solar panels installed since it was newly built in 2000 i guess.

Bp, or British Petroleum is on Ansty road opposite the co-op and the wyken Pippin pub, now known as…read morethe coventry something or other. This Bp has a hand car wash which recently replaced the automatic car wash. I ahevnt been to it so i dont know how good their service is. The petrol station itself has i think 6 pumps, so 12 spaces in all, if and when they all work. A common problem in petrol stations. The actual prices well, as always and in line with all other petrol stations, goes up and down from the brilliant to the ridiculous, so impossible to comment on. But they are usually slightly dearer than the likes of tescos and the supermarkets. The shop itself is quite big and you can get quite a lot from it. Although more petrol stations are linking up with M&S, such as the Bp on the A45, which has a huge food shopping area. So this is a good friendly station to go to for petrol or even try the hand car wash. Good location. Not the easiest to get in or out though.
