The condos are separate from the apartments. People are so upset about having their cars towed but at the condos, we OWN our units and the parking that is now labeled "stonebrook condominiums only." Which, by the way, was labeled that AFTER the apartments made every. single. space. "permit parking only." The condo residents are having people towed because if we cannot park in your spaces, you cannot park in ours. That being said, I think we can all come together and agree that this whole situation is ridiculous and they should have added a small parking lot instead of one of the buildings. It would have saved so much headache! Parking was a slight annoyance before, but with the addition of the apartments, it's unacceptable. This place is very unprofessional. I came in Thursday to try and get my deposit back but all they would do is lie lie lie. Wendy even text her manager and said let's just play a game... Pretty much telling her manager I saw the apartment for cheaper online so that the manager would lower the rent. My son said what's a game? Anyways, I have it all on video on my phone so there won't be room for anyone to say they didn't say that. Condos are nice inside but the exterior has declined in safety and cleanliness. The HOA and on-site board members are horrible. Slow to repair anything or even respond, if you raise a concern in the board meeting they shut you down are aggressive and begin monitoring you and trying to fine you for anything. Miscommunication in regards to the the rules and regulation. They don't provide any contact info to resolve issues and just harass and fine you until you sell and move away. I would never recommend anyone purchase or rent a unit at this complex. It's not worth the stress to live there. When you look online it says it has a gym and all kinds of amenities that are actually for the apartment complex next door that the condo owners do not have access to or permission to use. They security gate has been broken for years. There is no security and cars are often broken into and ransacked on a regular basis. Hi there! i am a renter of the Stonebrook Condominiums! I would like to make a distinction between the Condominium complex and the nearby (quite literally right next door and attached, to the same address) Apartments. The apartments are known as Fairview Court, But apparently many people here think the apartments are known as Stonebrook Apartments, Which is not true in the slightest, As Stonebrook and Fairview are not at all associated. that being said, the complaints are certainly warranted as the apartments themselves seem to have quite a few issues between parking and space constraints from what i have seen living in the CONDOS for at least 2 years (almost going on 3 at this point!) The people who read these reviews should note that the apartments are the condominiums are not at all the same thing, Despite sharing the same address. As such, you should search for a yelp page for Fairview Court if you are here to make a review of THAT complex. So as far as the Condominium complex goes, I very much enjoy living here as it is secluded, even if it IS in between Factory buildings and the the 205 freeway. I live right up against the freeway and it certainly is loud, But regardless of that its still a nice place to live when you get used to the noise. its not like this for the all the homes in this complex, I just got lucky. :) we have AC in our condo, With a decent floor plan and decent weatherproofing, I never have to worry about anything but temperature. Speaking of, One issue that bothers me is all these condominiums have a strange kind of Ventless, (But completely Gas) fireplace that uses a molten rock. the issue is the windows must be open to use this fireplace do to lack of vent, Otherwise you will basically gas yourself (with a side/threat of possible Carbon Monoxide poisoning! Honestly, an awful fireplace design) and set off the fire alarms. @~@ coming from California, We use Gas in fireplaces only to light logs, then turn the gas off, Rather then use the gas on its own for heat. Not being a Washington native, Its very... interesting to see all the different forms of heating people have up here. the area is very good looking and well maintained, If it ever snows, it looks very beautiful :) The management team that handles the condos are known as Invest West Management and they are a good group of people, all things considered. They work alongside an HOA board for the Condos closely. The only qualms i would have with them (or possibly the HOA if they are who create and manage the policies) Is the expectations they have of a Renter living in an HOA associated home. I wont go into detail as they are understandable, based on my knowledge of HOA's, having answered phones for one such kind of business before and are also just apart of how HOA's operate, but from the standpoint of a Renter? There should only be so much we should have to worry about, In way of Outside upkeep. Just my two cents. The neighbors i have never had issues with, For the most part. There are a few hit and miss scenarios as people seem to be moving in and out on a regular basis, with limited parking alongside interesting rules about said parking. Honestly though, the parking policies were perfectly acceptable until the nearby apartments were built and forced the HOA to change their policies to protect their space. All in all, Its a nice place for us as quite literally our first rental EVER. We moved into this place fresh out of moving out from where my father was living (i live with my sisters) and we were surprised that we could get such a nice place for the rental price we got it at (At the time, The rent has since gone up as i write this.) and we really couldn't complain with a few exceptions. The apartment has very serious parking problem.the design is totally not reasonable. You can't find any place to park after 4:30pm. Nearly every one here get their car towed or fined more than once. Really stupid community design. I and my roommate pay over 1000 towing fee and ticket. Really stupid. Funny thing is the condominium and the apartment is connected. You can't even tell what is the difference. Actually, who cares in one community? But they operate separately like totally different things. Why you use the name to mislead the resident here? The people in the condominium is totally unfriendly to the people in the apartment. They tow your car if you misplace your car. Why don't you make a dense or separate yourselves? I've lived here now for nearly 4 months...this place is awful...there is ZERO parking, which they say you should park in your garage. That's great, except if you have anything to put in your garage, forget it, your small size car will not fit, and God forbid you have two cars like most families... Their 'wood inspired' floors are linoleum, that's it. And it comes with the bonus of bubbles in it, which they still have yet to fix after 4 months. There is NO closet space except the closet in each bedroom. This means no entry closet, no linen closet and forget about a pantry in the tiny kitchen. But, they'll give you an ice maker in your freezer (which they'll 'sell up' to you at a walk through) but they won't have it plumbed for you, or anyone else...that would be NO ice maker then. I've seen postings that say there's air conditioning...THERE'S NOT! NONE. They are constantly changing their property policies and leaving notices on the door, annoying...especially when it's about the parking issues and they notify you of the CHANGED policy AFTER they tow all the cars...then we all have to pay $300-$400 to get our cars back...nice Run, and fast AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY...I'm sorry I ever signed a lease here, and I'll be leaving as soon as it's up! read more

The company didn't plan out the parking for its tenants. Guess they want to maximize profits over satisfied tenants by charging ridiculous towing fees that are inconsistent in pricing. I also got my car towed at the price of $450 while changing over from the old parking permit to the new. They will lie and tell you whatever you want to hear and will send you in circles when it comes to refunding your parking violation. There is no parking for a 2nd vehicle on the property and they will tell you to park at a gas station and walk 2-3 miles to your town home. They will even recommend parking at Walmart which is a good 30-40 min walk. Again, when it comes to refunding you tows. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN! I'm at a total of $900 in towing fees! They will keep towing your vehicles and expect rent to be due on time. I was told they will reduce my rent because of the wrongful towing and instead they gave me a 3 day notice. These apartments are a scam! They make their profits by towing tenants vehicles and charging them the 2.5 time the amount of rent for breaking it.Take these comments seriously and run away while you can. This review is for the Stonebrook APARTMENTS, not condominiums. The new ones not old ones. Don't move here unless you have no car and no items to store! Lol The townhomes themselves are very nice and cute inside, but we will unfortunately be moving as soon as our lease is up. There is no storage- no closets, pantry, and the kitchen cabinets are a joke. Whomever designed them was not thinking. We have to slant our plates sideways just to fit them in. Some homes have disposals and some don't... No disposal?! What is this, 1950?! Parking is terrible. Literally garage parking only and you'll only fit if you have a small car (especially since the garage is our only source for storage....) The neighbors are noisey and have poorly behaved children. Although the staff is friendly, they seem dis-organized and leave unprofessional notes on doors frequently. So sad because this location and the house itself are awesome! I'm not complaining just to complain, we just want to share our opinions ;) read more

The apartment and the condominium hires different car towing companies. The people of the towing company just want to earn money. Here is the story my roommate seen, an "officer" from the towing company park his car in the reserved parking place for disabilities and leaves the parking slot of the condonminiums empty. He just waits aside to for improper parking and call towing. The whole process is like fishing activity. I am really ashamed of the towing company and the management board. People who get their car towed should come together to impeach the community. read more

I would give -100 stars if I could! Most horrible experience! I usually don't ever post reviews but I am soooo miserable, unhappy and almost angry "surviving" here that I just have to write this in hopes that it will help someone to avoid huge amounts of stress and looooooots of money! These were built with $$$ signs in mind and definitely not people. This might work for people that don't drive, don't owe a car and don't need space for anything. Management tells you to park in the garage because they build over 150 units and provided parking for about 10 cars. And they have a towing truck feels like on site at all times, towing cars that are not parked in "designated" 10 parking spaces. This means you park outside of the apartment complex and walk 2 to 3 miles (depending how deep you are in the complex) to get home. I guess the positive about this is that you get your exercise in?! Management team is like nothing I've ever had to deal with before... I've submitted few maintenance requests (keep in mind that these are new construction, but because all appliances and building materials are so cheap, everything keeps breaking constantly) on August 17th and today is September 21st and nothing has been fixed yet. We will be breaking our lease and every penny will be worth it. Also keep in mind, that if you do break your lease, or if your lease is up and you are moving out, make sure your 20 day notice falls on the last day of the month, because if it's not, they will still charge you entire month rent, even tho you moved out on the 5th. Apparently they don't do pro-rate?!?!?! What??? I moved 8 times in the past 9 years and every single apartment or home I rented, only charged for the days that were occupied by me.
