This CPA firm is a disaster. One year, Stone McGee prepared a tax return with a mistake, that I caught. It was an incorrect tax assessment not a simple miscalculation. Subsequently, Kelley Wyatt gave me egregiously incorrect advice, causing tens of thousands of dollars in unexpected tax debt for 2 reporting years. And they failed to file a tax return for one year. Wyatt's malpractice has caused a nightmare with the IRS. Further, Edward Jones financial services referred friends to Kelley Wyatt with McGee Stone. Their tax return was prepared incorrectly, which was caught by a third party. I have filed complaints with: (1) the IRS via the Preparer Tax Complaint, (2) the New Mexico Board of Public Accountancy, and (3) will be suing Wyatt and Stone McGee for breach of fiduciary duty and/or malpractice.
