I just had the best experience here. I have avoided the derm for many years. I'm pregnant now and…read moremy Obgyn noticed some moles and asked I go get them checked... anyways I'm a mess right now. I've had a really rough trimester and I'm on the verge of tears all the time. I went in and everyone was so kind and gentle. Dr Dawson did a full body scan and asked to take photos of a couple spots so she can monitor them. In the past, the dermatologists I've seen seemed pretty slice happy and cut a bunch of things right away. This doctor is going to monitor the spots over the next few months and see if they've changed. Now I feel taken care of and safe and I actually will go back for those follow-ups.

The staff are friendly, professional, and genuinely kind--they make you feel comfortable and cared for right away. Dr. Brown is exceptional. Her credentials are impeccable and she came highly recommended by numerous other physicians. She is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to truly listen to concerns rather than rushing through appointments. She explains everything clearly, answers questions with patience, and makes sure you feel confident in your treatment plan. It's obvious that she truly cares about her patients and their outcomes. The level of care and attention to detail at Cherry Hills Dermatology is top-notch. I felt heard, respected, and well cared for, and the results speak for themselves. My wife is also a patient at the practice and very pleased with her treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Brown and the entire team to anyone looking for a dermatological surgeon they can trust for cancer care--you won't be disappointed.

If I could give 1-star for Dr. Asarch, who started this practice, I would, as he missed my skin…read morecancer, and also told me an angioma fibroma on my nose was a "pimple," so I applied his logic to the "pimple" I saw on my forehead/hair line, only to discover later, via a second opinion, that it was, indeed, skin cancer, and required Mohs surgery, including a huge hole to be cut out of my head (see photo). I clearly and directly addressed this with my PA, Kate Harrison, who I had been seeing intermittently, in between my annual skin checks with Dr. Asarch, before switching to a different dermatologist, for my Mohs surgery, after the doctors here breached my trust. So, why 5 stars? Because PA Kate Harrison is awesome, and I have trust in her intelligence, medical competence, and patient-focused personality, as she is extremely attentive to details, and she has done a wonderful job, within her scope of work. Kate has diagnosed and properly treated a number of skin conditions for me, due to my return to my hometown, of Denver, CO, from both coasts, San Francisco - marine climate & NoVA/Washington, DC - humid climate, so my skin needed a fair bit of adjusting, back to our dry climate. Wearing my Peloton cycling gel shorts, that are tight fitting, as well as experimenting with various full-body moisturizers, led to a few breakouts, and Kate tackled all of them, remarkably, as well as recommending tips & tricks, and products for me to use, to solve the problems. In parallel, as I return to walking on the High Line Canal & snowboarding, I've gotten a few corns on the bottoms of my feet (maybe due to my Birkenstocks, maybe due to genetics), and now we have a good cadence, of treating them every 8-weeks, and they are slowly reducing. I'm thrilled with Kate, hence the 5-stars for her. :-) Also, Forefront Dermatology has turned this office around, from a business perspective, since the acquisition, so I'm pleased with this transition away from Dr. Asarch, for this reason, as well.

Stay as FAR away from this place as you possibly can! I'm leaving this review hoping that it will…read moresave someone the same headache and nightmare I've had here. So, let me tell you some of the things I've had to deal with. 1. Amber Long is the Dermatologist I've seen, and she's never looked at my skin for more than 30 seconds. She has no idea what my skin or acne history is because she doesn't care, won't ask and won't give me enough time at appointments to tell her my frustrations. First time I saw her, she looked at my face for 5 seconds and prescribed me an acne med. 2. I traveled home and forgot my prescription and it was an absolute NIGHTMARE to get the clinic and Dr. Long to call in another prescription. Missed close to 4 days of meds because of it. Nurses hotline said 48 hour response time... I had to call every single day for 4 days to get them to do anything. Their hotline response time is a lie. 3. One my second visit, Dr. Long prescribed me an acne medication that I've already tried and it made my skin purge so badly. Why didn't she know that? She has no idea my skin history and does not care to know as I said before. After that I called in to say I'd like something else and without another appointment or conversation, Dr. Long prescribed me a medication that was over $1000 WITH MY INSURANCE! I called again to inform her, and this is the worst part, she called in another prescription for the exact same med she has given the first time... 4. I've had to update my pharmacy 6 different times because for some reason they have the wrong one on file for me. And for some reason, the changes NEVER update. I've had to transfer every single prescription through Walgreen. Thankfully; I called so often that they can easily get it transferred for me. I know from friends that dermatologists can be short and to the point, but this is a whole different level of that. At the very least, my initial appointment should've been 10 minutes. It was 3 minutes. And that's being generous! Again, I'm writing this review hoping that it will save someone the nightmare I've had to deal with for the past 6 months!
