He has a history of inappropriate physical contact and sending sexually explicit messages to female clients. I personally experienced this behavior on four separate occasions while in his office. During my final visit, I felt compelled to bring my adult son for protection, as Mr. Dupree had previously touched me inappropriately as I was leaving his office. Mr. Dupree took advantage of my vulnerability and desperate need for legal assistance. He knew I had limited options and used that to his advantage. After the fourth incident, I terminated his services. No amount of compensation could justify the continued abuse I was subjected to. He finally returned my fees after I publicly exposed his behavior on my Facebook page, "End Corruption in Harnett County." I have sent Mr. Dupree a demand before filing a civil suit. I refuse to allow him to victimize other women. If you have also been a victim of Mr. Dupree's misconduct, please reach out to me. Fast forward to May of this year. I was pulled and made aware that my license had been suspended after failing to appear to my court date the prior year. This august I received an email stating that they had gotten the charges dropped and that they would send me copies later that day. Two weeks later I had never received the copies after multiple attempts to reach them. This time I decided to call the court house. After doing so I discovered that there was a warrant for my arrest for failure to appear once again. Not only did his firm's negligent behavior almost lead to my arrest, they also lied to me and told me it had been handled. No assessment done at the scene. The whole highway patrol investigation was a joke. Both cars totalled. This was September 2021. No one from Ricci interviewed the trooper or even slightly delved into the reports. Here it is December 23 and I'm waiting on a 6 thousand dollar check (after Riccis 33 1/3 cut). During this "process ", my primary line if communication was with a lady who seemed depressed and uninterested (kinda like Eeor) at best. I talked to the attorney several times only to get the usual "pep talk" about my case. Finally, the call came. There was an offer to settle. First thing I said was "You're not taking it, right? He replied "nope". Next call came. The attorney said "I got you some more money." 400 dollars.. So my claim ends up being worth around 10,000.00 dollars. Ironically, that's the same amount several attorneys in the area say I could have gotten with 1 phone call and NO attorney. I went to Ricci without even a second thought because of how I felt he handled my disability claim. Bear in mind, a disability claim and an accident claim are 2 different critters. I truly felt like just another number this time. I feel that once they learned the true value (their opinion) of my claim, I was just shoved on the back burner.
