Went in with my mother to order my father's gravestone. The place was very busy and had a lot of full-size models. The staff were very understanding, patient and courteous. We were able to fairly quickly figure out what we were ordering once all the requirements of the cemetery were understood. We were provided with a conservative estimate for completion and installation timing and were surprised when it was done in 2/3 the time frame. We are very satisfied with the entire experience. The only thing that may have made it nicer was to have actual private offices or at least 5' high cubicle panels separating your visit from others. read more

Had them do my mothers gravestone. They are easy to work with and will help you with a design and bring your vision to life. Only downside is with the pandemic, they are very behind on their work. When I paid for the gravestone they said it would take about six months, at the end it ended up taking about 7 1/2 months total. read more

Thank you so much, Stockton Monuments! After many years of my grandmother being without a headstone, we (family) decided to stop in here to get a rough estimate. Marcy C., was very friendly and helpful, in fact we got started on designing (not sure of that's the correct term) a headstone. Everything we picked out, she occasionally made a few suggestion and also gave us a few more ideas, which again were just suggestion. We unfortunately forgot to bring a picture to be used in the headstone, but we returned later for that. And our picture wasn't in the best condition, a few rips, lines, fading but Marcy said it would not be a problem, they could take care of it. About 6 weeks and the headstone would be ready and we would be notified, we ended up calling them in the 7th week which wasn't really a big issue since we still had to make the final payment. After the final payment was made, we were informed that due to the holiday weekend (Thanksgiving), they might not have the headstone set til the following week. Well to our surprise a few days before Thanksgiving, Marcy gave us a call and let us know they had just set the headstone in and it looked great. That was our next stop. The work Stockton Monument did was amazing! Also the picture looked great. What made this all that much better was that my grandmother got a headstone before her birthday. I forgot who I talked to over the phone the first time I called. This was about a month and a half ago? I loved the service and information given but sadly, didn't receive a call back. I called again about a week later to follow up, the person who answered said she was going to find out who spoke with me and will have them give me a call to follow up. No phone call yet. And it's been almost 2 months now. I'll give the benefit of the doubt. We went in today not knowing what to expect. I was extremely impressed with the kindness and service. They had a headstone in the office that was EXACTLY what my dad had in mind for my mom's headstone. Took less than 45 minutes total. When they give you a quote it was all in which was wonderful. They don't nickle and dime you which is appreciated since it is a very emotional time. The ability to walk in without an appointment was also appreciated. Many kudos. Very very disappointed in Stockton Monuments ! I called them on July 3rd asking when my dad's headstone would be ready to be installed and they said that his actual headstone is ready, but that the add on pieces I got would be coming in their shipment either that week or this week but more than likely this week due to the holiday. They also mentioned that the add ons were in the Bay Area! I told them I wanted everything to go up together so I would wait. The lady I spoke with on the phone said installation would be this week! So I decided to call again today since I hadn't heard back. The lady calls the broker they work with and he said the add ons won't be ready till 3/4 weeks. So basically they were telling me false information to shut me up. I do not recommend anyone to buy from them. They told me installation would be beginning of June and now I'm looking at August which isn't a problem, but don't give false hope to a grieving family and blatantly lie just to get me to stop calling. If you tell me something that is what I expect! I've spent almost $5,000 on a headstone that was supposed to be installed in June and now I'm waiting another 2 months. The lack of communication is ridiculous along with spending so much money on something so special to be treated like it doesn't matter! I would of never did business with this company had I known this is how they handle serious matters. read more

The customer service was HORRIBLE!!! I clearly walked in upset & emotional & they would not help me since I didn't have an appointment. I explained to them my work hours are their business hours & I am out on bereavement that's why I was available today. She said they offer zoom appointments so I mentioned my lunch hour is 12pm-1pm & she said theirs is the same so they aren't available to me that way either. I asked for a catalog or something to look at & she said they don't have one, just go walk through the cemetery & take a pict of someone else's headstone I like & I can email it to them but a deposit is due at the same time. I believe that in some part there is some price gouging due to the pandemic, i could not be happier to have found this place. Im from out of the area so I didn't know who to call to design and order a headstone for my father. I called Stockton Monuments based on their good reviews. Unfortunately, we have NOT had a good experience. When a family member passes, isn't it common business practice to be accommodating and to make the process seamless? I started working with Marci 3 weeks ago to design a headstone. She forgot about our first scheduled call. Called me later in the day, we designed the headstone and haven't heard back from her since (2 weeks ago), despite numerous phone messages and emails to their company email. Messages were left for her that , "yes, we love the design, please send us an email and we'll pay it on receipt "....still no response. Stockton Monuments cleaned my little sister's headstone last month. I initially called to ask for replacing it but was told that I can have it professionally cleaned as an option. Didn't know it was possible. I live in Colorado now so I gave them my sister's info at the cemetery and sent a picture. Stockton Monuments did a very good job of cleaning it, especially with my sister's picture on the tombstone. They sent me a photo afterward and honestly, I cried because I hadn't seen it that nice in 18 years. My oldest sister visited the cemetery yesterday and sent me another photo. They promise it would be done before Father's Day, they keep making mistakes, yet nothing gets fixed in a timely matter. I can not say enough wonderful things about Stockton Monuments! My sister and I went in there on Saturday Feb 22nd to order our Mother and Fathers headstone, not looking forward to this difficult task (emotionally), and never having to do this before we did not know what to expect, but Marcy C (not sure of her title), was the sweetest most caring and patient young lady ever!!! She took the stress off of us both she sat down and created the most beautiful design and incorporated everything we wanted, no sells job she actually tried to save us money, and she is a genius on her program. through all of this since my Mom passed It is always at the forefront of what she would have liked, and how she would have wanted things done, it was as if Marcy knew our Mother she was one of those Angels who crosses your path when the time is right. and I want her to know how much we appreciated her taking care of us, and our Mother would have been VERY pleased.
