    Homemade Reese's Cheesecake "to go"

What a fantastic steak house! If you're making the trip between Rapid City, SD and Billings, MT it's well worth your time to take Hwy 212 instead of the interstate. Stop and eat at the Sportsman's Club in Broadus, MT- you won't be sorry. Two of us shared a steak and sides and were happily stuffed. It was the best steak I've had in years. The onion rings were really good, too. Be sure to take some homemade dessert with you for later! Quite a few tables with a great view to the grassland behind the restaurant. The man who served us had the best recommendations and was so friendly and accommodating. If I lived within a hundred miles of this place, I'd eat here often.

Riley that melts in your mouth

The service was excellent and the steak melts in your mouth. I would give this place a 100 stars. Friendly and good hearted people.

The hangover burger is killer! Cooked medium rare and not too much salt. Highly recommended with or without a hangover (had mine without). Enjoy the cowboy pictures of locals on the walls. Not Hollywood-esque but authentic, the way I like it.

Cheap beer. Great ribeye steak w/ a delicious salad accompanied by homemade ranch a yummy baked potato. Bartender was friendly and a real gentleman. Don't judge a book by its cover. Nice place on the inside. Truck parking and friendly service. Definitely a hidden gem in the middle of the road. Yes sir thank you again Tom

    P. R. Wrangler with fries...a cube steak smothered with sauteed onions and mushrooms and coated with melted cheese on a hoagie roll

I did not read the reviews before stopping here, and I'm so glad I didn't. This was a great little cafe with western atmosphere and really good food. I had a P. R. Wrangler with fries and the flavor combination was tremendous. My friend had the steak strips, and they were also excellent. Had we not been traveling many more miles after supper, we likely would have kicked back in the bar for a bit before leaving. This is a great little family establishment with everything you need for a rest stop in southeastern Montana.

Great burger. Homemade buns and hand pressed patties. If you're headed through Broadis stop in.

Very simple but good. Had a cheese burger, prime dip, hot ham and cheese, and chicken sandwich. Service was great. Nice quick stop.

Happened upon the Cafe after visiting Devil's Tower. What a find! Hubby and I split the Prime Rib…read moreMelt with a salad and got an additional side salad. Fresh salad ingredients and the horseradish sauce on the sandwich with a generous portion of beef made this the best meal we've had on our travels through WY! Friendly staff made sure we were spoiled even sitting out on the back patio with our pooch. They pulled down the sunshade and did not forgot us out here. Sorry no photos till dessert, we were hungry and ate it up quickly! The special was peach bread, pudding with caramel sauce, and vanilla ice cream - to die for!

Had the Swiss Mushroom Burger and tried Grilled Chicken Wrap…read more The mushroom slices in the burger were grilled bringing out its woody flavor. Very generous with the thick slice of swiss cheese that melted covering and oozing over the burger patty. The burger patty was thick but did not have the beefy burger taste; a little bland. The bun was soft and similar to how Italian bread tastes, slightly sweet yeasty flavor. Good sized side salad included. The Grilled Chicken Wrap used a sun dried tomato wrap. It was like having a salad with ranch dressing wrapped in a tortilla. Chicken chunks were tender but a little bit salty. Good size for the price. Nice dining room with western country decor. Staff was nice. Lots to choose from the menu. The restaurant is located in a very small town that makes you fell like you're in an old Western movie.
