I came here for happy hour since I was in the area. I went straight to the rooftop since the weather was nice. The staff was friendly and my server was helpful. I got the short rib quesadilla and the Lil BRG and truffle fries. Everything tasted great. My only issue is that the portion size was pretty small. I have no complaints with anything else besides that. Their happy hour and brunch deals are pretty good. I would come back again if I'm in the area. FYI my server did tell me they are moving locations, like a couple blocks away, in the next couple weeks so keep that in mind.

I am fan of the STK brand and this was my 3rd visit to one of their many locations around the world. I have to admit that this was truly underwhelming. Great location in the Meatpacking District. To access the rooftop restaurant on level 4, you first step into "STK Downtown". The ambience here looks like what you would expect from an STK. I opted for the rooftop because the temps were mild and I thought it would be nice to dine outside. We had a 5pm reservation and were immediately seated. Ambience on the rooftop is decent. There is a small lounge area surrounded by vines and flowers. Nice for photos. The majority of the tables and bar are under a covered roof, and even the outdoor tables all have umbrellas. Overall, the cleanliness and ambience of the rooftop did not align with STK's identity in my opinion. Many other reviews spoke negatively about the service and now I understand. Our server was really nice and pleasant, however it seemed like they were understaffed (bar and wait staff). Drinks took long to arrive and we couldn't place our order until the drinks came. There were just too many occasions where we had to look for our server and the worst part is that they did not seem to be busy as the restaurant was not full. All of our empty dishes stayed on the table until we paid the check. We had to clean and stack dishes ourselves. Ordered a 2nd round of drinks and those were forgotten as we had to remind the server. Finally, we ordered salad and it seemed to also be forgotten. We had a table full of cooked items and we were missing what essentially could have been the first item to arrive. I cancel the item with our server, then 5 minutes later the salad arrives. We refused it. We went during happy hour and for an NYC happy hour, I highly recommend the menu for quality and value. Drinks were VERY good. We also ordered from the regular menu. I didn't feel that any dish was amazing, but my family did agree that everything was good and above average. Highlights were the LOBSTER MAC & TUNA TARTARE TACOS (They are 2-mini tacos although the menu does not state that). Another small negative, the table rocked because the legs were uneven. Might sound stupid to some, but this can be very annoying when 4 people are dining. I've been at other high end restaurants where they immediately try to resolve. I have always viewed STK as a high end restaurant, but this service experience was not commensurate with the prices being charged. Definitely recommend the happy hour. Go to the bar after work. If you really want to dine, I would suggest trying downstairs.

Really great happy hour menu with lots of variety to choose from - for both food and drinks. Super friendly service, accommodating both adults and children. The rooftop was nice, casual and airy whereas downstairs felt a little bit more intimate. Either way food and drinks were fab! Would recommend checking out this place. Our waitress Jonah was amazing and made the whole experience enjoyable.

Happy hour was amazing! I was able to bring my son and didn't feel out of place at all--such a family-friendly vibe. Our waiter, William, was an absolute delight. He was friendly, warm, and made us feel truly welcome. Great service makes all the difference, and William definitely delivered. We'll be back!"

Went here for an anniversary celebration and the food and views didn't disappoint! The steaks we ordered were cooked perfectly and there are great views of lower Manhattan from the rooftop. The rooftop is more casual than the main restaurant downstairs but the food is just as good! The service was a bit on the slower side, especially after we finished our meals, but would definitely still return!

Love the vibe and view from this rooftop. I've only been to the one in LA and had an amazing experience so wanted to try this location. Came here for Happy Hour for the good deals. We ordered the short rib quesadilla, tater tots, and wagyu tacos. I was a bit shocked at how the portion sizes were. The food was good but only giving 4 tater tots for example was a bit ridiculous lol. Also a couple bites each of the quesadilla was not satisfying. We ordered the regular size Parmesan truffle fries to fill up our appetite. The best part were our drinks of course! $9 for a drink is a real steal. I want to come back for dinner next time and get a regular size meal and hopefully won't be disappointed with the portion size.

(3/5) We waited a long time for anyone to come to our table and ended up going to the bar just to order drinks. The steak skewers from the spring menu were so fatty we had to send them back, though the potstickers were great. Our waitress Jody was awesome--super friendly and accommodating. The short ribs were delicious and very tender, while the filet mignon was just okay, especially for the price. Overall, the rooftop ambiance and music made for a fun vibe, but the food was hit or miss and definitely overpriced.

Celebrated my birthday here with some friends. We came for happy hour and shared a bunch of food. The menu and amount of food for us was perfect! It was rainy so we couldn't go outside and take pictures. The food was not as warm as I expected but we still ate everything. I like that they have happy hour until 6:30pm on a Friday! Heads up - the elevators take a long time to go up and down and the bathroom is on the floor below which was inconvenient. It's also really dark on that floor.

Came here for a networking event, steak was really good. Mashed potatoes were to die for. Friendly staff, drinks were ok. Loved the presentation and the cookie.

I came here for an event on the rooftop and was surprised by how large the rooftop was. The rooftop was packed for this event, and I liked how there were different sections of the rooftop. There wasn't a lot of seating, but there was a section with standing and sitting tables for two. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was the most disappointing things I tried here. As someone who is not a big lobster person, I don't know how else to describe the lobster besides "okay." The Bacon Mac & Cheese was much better. The saltiness snd savoriness of the bacon paired well with the creaminess of the cheese. The Parmesan Truffle Fries were crispy and addictive. They were on the thicker side, and they were close to my ideal fries. I smelled the truffle even before they set the fries out, and I began craving fries before I laid my eyes on them. The Wagyu Burger looked something out of a commercial. The burger patty was fat and covered with perfectly melted cheese, and it was sandwiched between two thick buns. I also had a cocktail that I don't remember the name of, but that and my friend's cocktail I had a sip of were good! The people walking around with rose and wine were very friendly.

celebrated a birthday here early october. we came for the steak night promo since we have pretty high expectations for our steaks (as one should). however we were let down with every experience though we still spent around $400. upon check in, the host was js as confused and unhelpful as we were. we took the elevator to the rooftop and the elevator had a raw meat stench which was very unpleasant. the doors opened to another host booth where 2 employees were standing at, without greeting us, they left. so we stood there for a few minutes until a server noticed us and sat HE us promptly. he took our order, and another server took over our table, maria i believe. she was amazing. now let's get on w the food. mac & cheesed: flavorless asparagus: js blanched with lemon zest new york strip: rubber porterhouse steak: also very tough we each ordered a truffle butter to go with the steaks, and that was the only flavor packed item we had. not pictured: apple pie... imagine a mcdonald's apple pie (: safe to say we did not finish our food as i believe they serve quite depressing food. ended up giving the left over steaks to our friends dog.

I was expecting so much more from this spot. I was very disappointed. To start, the place is absolutely stunning! The restaurant is gorgeous!! It's so Instagram and tik tok friendly with the aesthetics. They definitely did that for the decor of the space. Now to the service.. we had a reservation for 4 for 730. We arrived on time and was seated right away. That was great. They have booths instead of tables so it felt very private. They're also not too close to each other so it doesn't feel like you're on top of another party. Our waitress was mia for the first 30 mins. I'm not sure where she was or what she was doing. But we didn't get water, silverware or anything for a while. So much so we immediately complained when she did arrive to greet us at the table. She was nice, just not as attentive as I'm used to. Throughout the evening, it was a little hard to get things needed. One thing they did do very well was refill our water almost immediately. It never got empty. Our cocktails arrived after our appetizers. So there's that. The food: For restaurant week, this was a great deal. It's supposed to be a $60 3 course meal. But they put upgrade charges on all the good stuff lol. The lil brgrs were an up charge of $5 and if you wanted the ribeye it was an extra $13, and the sides were all $10 extra as well. I up charged my steak, because the steak they were offering was a skirt steak, (a brunch steak lol), and who wants that for dinner? Not me! lol. So i ordered the ribeye. It came with fingerling potatoes. I also ordered the cream spinach (see below) which wasn't very creamy lol. The way the creamed spinach left a very undesirable look on the plate was a little off-putting. It wasn't bad, but I've definitely had better. The little burgers were good. They didn't ask what temp we wanted them so each order was pretty much raw in the middle. (I like my burgers cooked through! lol). It wasn't bad tho. My ribeye was so flat lol. This was the second restaurant i went to that the ribeye was flat. Very weird for a steakhouse of this caliber. It reminded me of a cheap steak you get in the supermarket. I wasn't very happy with that at all. I was expecting a nice size steak from this expensive restaurant. Maybe they're just giving this cut to the people coming for the restaurant week menu... but that was definitely off putting as well. The mashed potatoes were okay. Nothing to write home about, and the fries were also okay. They were similar to Burger King fries to me. Just seemed a bit overdone. Lastly, the apple crumb dessert was pretty much apple pie filling and some type of crumble on top. Definitely wasn't what i expected. It was just heated thru canned apple pie filling with crumb topping with ice cream on top. Worst dessert I've ever had in a steakhouse. My friend had the oysters and he said they were good. The cocktails were also good. But for $27!!!! They had better be! All in all, the service could've been better, and the food could've been better as well. It was just all around underwhelming experience. But it was a beautiful restaurant. The drinks were pretty strong too. But 1 for $27 is kinda insane. It wasn't that strong lol. If you want to go here for the ambiance, that's cool. But make sure you bring your wallet cuz whew! I give them a 2.7/5. See pics below.

My friends and I made a reservation here for brunch on a Sunday. The location was easy to find. There was a podium outside of the restaurant but no one was there to direct us. Once we got inside, it looked like the main level was a steakhouse. There are stairs and an elevator to get to the 4th floor. We tried to use the elevator (along with an older couple who were also going to the rooftop) but the elevator was getting stuck on the main floor. We were afraid we'd get stuck in the elevator so we had to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to the roof. It was fine for us but the older couple was struggling. After we helped the older couple upstairs, we were greeted on the patio. The person who was supposed to be downstairs at the podium apologized that she wasn't down there (she was on the rooftop). The rooftop itself is nice. Our service was decent at best. Our waitress was nice but not super attentive (I.e. didn't bring out items we asked for). I ordered a watermelon cocktail which was really good! For my entree I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was good too. The food, drink, and ambiance were nice but I'm not sure I'd come back based on the other factors of the visit.

Is there a view of the fireworks on July 4th?

Planning on coming here for a birthday dinner but worried about the cold. Is it freezing on the rooftop? This weekend is in the 30s and Im worried about not being able to enjoy dinner bc we are freezing?

    Is this a 21+ restaurant?

No I brought my son and nephew. It was daytime though

Is there still a brunch menu and music? Looking to take a friend for brunch in 2 weeks on a Sunday. However, I do not see a brunch menu on the site anymore but found a menu elsewhere on the internet that has a bottomless brunch option.

Yes there is a brunch menu. And its fabulous and delish. Ask for Kelly or Blake they are the best managers ever!! Took really good care of my crew 2 days in row. Yes I said 2 days in a row, it was that good we went back for a second time!! DJ and… Read more

However, the way the billing was handled was extremely disappointing and honestly very misleading. I was told that adding two additional guests would not be a problem, and at no point was I informed there would be an extra $150 charge. To only bring this up after the event is unacceptable. That kind of information should be clearly communicated at the time the request is made so customers can make an informed decision. What made matters worse was receiving a final email stating that my deposit would be kept because of those additional guests. That is completely unprofessional. I paid $2,772.20 for a pizza-making class for 17 kids and 16 adults, and in reality, only 15 kids and 15 adults attended--and only about 8 adults even participated in making pizza. There were no additional materials or accommodations that would justify keeping the deposit. While the event itself was a success, the lack of transparency and the decision to keep the deposit left a very bad impression. Customers should not have to deal with surprise charges after the fact.

The format is basically like the show Chopped - two chefs (with the help of a sous chef) must prepare 3 different courses (app/entrée/dessert) using the ingredients from a mystery basket and are judged by the group. They have a certain amount of time for each round/course, and each mystery basket ingredient must only be used once over the 3 dishes. Each event is capped at 20 people - 12 seats at the counter and 8 seated at two tables behind the counter. Counter seats are only $10 more, however if the counter is sold out, it's totally fine to have a table seat. They encourage you to stand up and walk around, engaging with the chefs as they are preparing each dish. They have tasting sticks and allow you to taste sauces as they are being prepared. It's an intimate setting and it's a great way to learn about their techniques and the various ingredients. Watching them plate 20 dishes is incredible. All the food they prepared was delicious - there wasn't a bad dish. It's basically like having two full 3-course meals however you can take home any leftovers if you can't finish it all. You don't know the mystery ingredients ahead of time and they can't accommodate any allergies/preferences so that's something to keep in mind if you have allergies or are a picky eater. Our main proteins were chicken and steak so no issues there. At the end of each course, you have a score card where you rate each dish on presentation, creativity, and taste. At the end of the final round, we went around the room and told the chefs who we think should be crowned the night's winner. No getting out of telling them to their faces who was your favorite! It was a really fun night. The hostess was great and kept everyone pumped up and made sure our carafe of water was full. Both chef Ed and Guillermo were really cool and friendly - it was great to chat with them. They are amazing chefs. Some tips: don't be late! Don't dress too warmly especially if you are seated at the counter - it gets warm if you are near the stove burners. Bring wine - they have ice buckets for white/rosé. Book as soon as the calendar goes live if you want a counter seat. You are going to smell like oil/fried food when you leave... so ladies, don't get a fresh blowout ahead of time!

RUN away - no attention to detail, no designated event manager, and if something goes wrong, you…read morewill receive no apology or explanation. Their glaring incompetence was shocking and unacceptable. We booked our October 22, 2022 wedding in May 2021. The event managers at the time were knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions and concerns, so the decision seemed right (sadly, they both ended up leaving before our wedding). After that, getting any answers from the venue was like pulling teeth. From March 2022 to May or June they had a new event manager named Kevin who was entirely non-responsive so I started including the restaurant group manager Adam on emails. Eventually, Kevin disappeared. In July 2022, I met Adam in person. He assured me that he would adhere to all the promises made previously and we went through a list of questions I had. I asked to schedule a tasting and finalize the menu/pricing for our October wedding and he explained that they should have a fall menu by mid-August. It seemed like we had turned over a new leaf and were moving in a positive direction. Mid-August came and went, and I reached out asking about the menu which Adam indicated would be ready by September 2-3. From 8/30 to 9/7 multiple emails were sent without anything being scheduled. Somehow, my wedding planner got contact information for another staff member from another wedding planner and was able to get us in for a tasting on September 22. We did not receive final menus, alcohol lists, or pricing until literally the week of our wedding. In multiple forms of communication, the venue assured us they had enough tables for our guests and that they could provide freezer storage for our custom ice cream cakes. On Friday 10/21, I personally delivered the cakes out of a cooler bag to a member of the Kolo Klub staff and told them they were ice cream cakes and they needed to go in the freezer. She took them into the back herself and made me wait in the hallway so I did not see where they were stored. Come wedding day, we had issue after issue. There were not enough chairs set up for the guests for the ceremony so people were standing all over the back of the room. The venue had promised they had enough tables to seat our guests, yet two tables were sat around coffee tables. The bartenders were all making the specialty cocktails differently. During the speeches, there was loud music BLARING from the Pilsener Haus downstairs so people could not hear the speeches. The buffet took forever to be re-filled. And finally, the venue RUINED ALL FIVE of our custom ice cream cakes AND DID NOT TELL US AT FIRST OR APOLOGIZE. These were gorgeous, custom cakes from Torico in Jersey City that looked like amethyst geodes. I only found out because I asked a server to have the cakes taken out so my photographer could take pictures of them before they were cut and I was told something like "there was an incident and there were no cakes." As you can imagine, I was irate. The venue had upheld ZERO of their promises and now had destroyed our desserts that we paid for out of pocket and hand-delivered. I had NO WEDDING CAKE. There was no manager or head staff member on hand handling this situation and no apology. There were no proposed solutions of how they were going to provide dessert for our guests. In fact, my brother-in-law went out to a bakery and purchased cookies with his own money. I demanded to be repaid the money I spent on the cakes, and my brother-in-law insisted a staff member retrieve cash to compensate us, which thankfully happened. At some point what looked like a supermarket ice cream cake appeared. I am not sure if the venue eventually sent someone to get the cake or one of my other relatives got it. It has been two months since the wedding and I still have received no apology or information on what happened, despite a staff member saying "someone would be in touch." If I could do it over, I would never have hosted my wedding here.

I've recommended at least one friend to get married here (and they are) and as far as event spaces go this one is damn fine with a max capacity of about 200 people. Mutli room all with beautiful wood floors, dark leather couches, dim lighting, brick walls. Wow. Definitely Prague in the 1940's. Definitely one of the hipper locations I've been in Hoboken. The cocktail list is extensive and is of the "mixologist" type. They are pricey $11-$13 or so but, that's how much fancy cocktails cost these days. Womp womp. I really can't talk about ambiance on a regular night since I've never been but for an event space, this place is truly dark, romantic and a super cool spot in Hoboken definitely a must stop and see when planning a special event, wedding, bday, fundraiser. (I have no clue on pricing/rental so good luck).

Tons of space and can be decorated however you like. From what I understand, the space is very budget friendly and you can select your own caterer. There's an on-site staff member to assist with serving and cleanup. Max capacity: 90 ppl First floor: Two restrooms for guest. A bar area with a fridge. Area for a setting up a photo booth & cocktail tables (or whatever you like). My friends bridal shower had a dessert table, full bar, photo booth, and cocktail tables. Upstairs: Big space to set up tables, chairs, couches etc. Plenty of room for a dancing area and food. My friends bridal shower had rented couches and glow in the dark cocktail tables. Just beautiful!

I wanted to set up more of a lounge theme and Franca went above and beyond to find a furniture company that was within our budget. The pictures don't do it justice! The venue itself is gorgeous and located in a perfect area! There is parking available right next to the building which is very convenient. The two rooms are spacious and my guests kept commenting on how nice of a place it was. I can't thank Franca enough! This venue is definitely worth checking out and I plan to do events in this space in the future as well!
