What I received was where the vehicle was last registered-, information which I already knew. By now, valuable time was wasted. The company owner Private Investigator Scott Bernard was full of excuses of why he did not execute services in a timely manner which resulted in a direct failure in my investigation although I initially provided him with a substantial amount of evidence to conclude my case successful in a sufficient amount of time . I submitted my complaint for a full refund for the investigative services that I did not obtain and was of course met with resistance as if I received quality services. My SLED complaint against this company is for FAILURE TO PERFORM / BREACH OF CONTRACT. Even if you provide this company with a substantial amount of information and evidence directly related to my case you will not receive desired results. I contracted Bernard Investigations LLC for private investigative and GPS related services and immediately after contracting with Scott Bernard, and paying the retainer fee, there has and was existed NO weekly correspondences with this company, NO GPS tracking updates for the assigned vehicles, and NO direct follow-thru regarding my case from this company to either myself and/or my legal counsel. I was met with one excuse after the other, an excuse after excuse with Investigator Scott Bernard - as to why he was not performing or had no information or reporting to provide to myself and/or my legal counsel as he was directed from week to week. I was consistently meet with short replies from this company owner, work performance inconsistency, and lack of official reports authenticating the work-in-progress for my pre-paid services, as related to my case. Private Investigator Scott Bernard has done and did absolutely nothing related to my case - except to collect a retainer fee and not perform the duties I contracted him to do. This company has ultimately failed to provide any information prior to my pre-existing court case - as he was advised to do so. The only time I received any feedback or correspondence from Private Investigator Scott Bernard, was when I had directly INITIATED the contact, either by email or text message to him from my two cell phone numbers he was provided - in questioning his work-in-progress, and always met with one of MANY excuses he used - (He was in-Court, He was Out of Town for a Wedding, He was Short Staff due to an employee moving out of state, The Battery was going Dead, and followed by the Battery went dead on the GPS unit on the 2007 Infinite and further confirming he had only GPS'd one of the two vehicles I had assigned him). As a result, myself and my legal team, has yet to receive a single work performance report from Mr. Scott Bernard and prior to my first court hearing - as he was instructed to provide. I terminated services with Mr. Scott Bernard, by email, requesting the retainer fee be refunded in full within 10 business days - he told me he had 15 days to get me a report of findings (BUT SAID NOTHING ABOUT MY REFUND REQUEST). I advised over the phone, that those finding terms were unacceptable, as I he was previously requested to report all first investigative findings within 15 days of my initial court hearing scheduled - that which he failed to do, and had met me with yet another excuse of the "GPS was DEAD, and out of service" on the unit, within that time frame. I expected a much higher level of service from this company, and I am quite disappointed due to their failure to perform!
