For VW car fanatics. A great display of old production vehicles , old prototypes and even a Karmann Ghia, a true VW fan would appreciate to visit along with the Autostadt. BIG THANKS & ¡MUCHAS GRACIAS! to Antonella Pettito and Janeth Valencia who went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us get masks to be able to get back home. If you feel the AC is not strong or you don't have water with you, there are cold water and sodas for sale at the ticket/souvenir shop. Make sure to get a souvenir, they are indeed unique. #ruizmedina #travel #familytravel #germany #wolfsburg #vw #vdub #vwlove #vdublove read more

Won a trip to Germany from my workplace and this is one of the places we visited. Great display of different automobiles, with the focus of course being on Volkswagen. We also did the VW factory tour and Touareg off-road course. Highly recommended! read more

I am a fan of VWs and my ownership of 4 VWs during my lifetime proves the point. The museum is very subdued in terms of numbers of visitors. The vehicles are artistically displayed and each has a placard giving a description and stats, all in German. There must be an audio guide or booklet since the same placards have and English flag with a number on it. As a treat, there are a few prototypes and racing vehicles. I only spent 2 hours here but was very happy I visited; it is so unlike Autostadt. You can walk to the museum from the Hbf or take bus 212 to stop Auto Museum, note the direction of the bus. read more
