He does charge more than a few other quotes I received, but his rates reflect the quality of his work. He is very responsive and laid down all of the stain options I was looking at in 4 different rooms throughout my house so I could really see how the color looked in different lighting conditions. He was also able to seamlessly fill in all of the cracks in our floors making them look brand new and did the entire house in less than a week! Make sure you do your research on whether or not you want Synteko for your finish - we ended up going with a water-based finish since we have a dog and little babies crawling on our floors and didn't want to risk the toxins, but I would definitely trust Johnny with the finish if you're interested in it. Finally, about a month after moving in, one of our stair treads broke off and Johnny was able to come and replace it in a matter of days - he asked for the measurements ahead of time, so when he showed up at 8am, he already had the tread pre-cut and was done with everything within the hour. We had received multiple quotes from other companies but we liked Adrian's professionalism the best. Rovin's workers showed up on time the day work was to begin; however, a job that was supposed to take 1.5 days to finish took 5 days due to human error, and trying to resolve the problem (drip from final application on floor where the worker set his roller to leave for the day and forgot to smooth it out on his way out the door). Total accident. It was one minor problem that turned into several after trying to rebuff and reapply the finish. I contacted Adrian when I noticed the drip and he sent his guy back that same day and the entire first floor hand to be rebuffed and another finish applied. With that said, this is a Swedish finish with horrible fumes so I'm sure it took it's toll on the worker. Unfortunately, the next day I noticed a very uneven application in several areas. I called Andrian again and he came to inspect the job the next day and said he's very busy but he would be back tomorrow to redo them himself. Anyway, Adrian came out to correct the problem which I appreciate but there are still some spots that I'm not completely satisfied with but I did not want him to do it again. I can hide those spots with rugs or furniture, and I want to get my house back in order. Overall, Adrian is professional and the floor looks way better than it did when they started. There was a language barrier with the workers so be mindful of this but Andrian is easy to reach if you have questions or need clarification. I wanted to give them 4+ stars so bad but couldn't justify it given the delays, uneven application in certain areas and no discount offered for the inconvenience. Would I hire Rovens again? Yes, probably, because he's professional and he tried to turn around the situation. Good customer service means a lot to us and I can tell Andrian wants to ensure his customers are satisfied. I added a photo of the drip that caused the rework if that hadn't happened I would have given them 5 stars because everywhere else was perfect. Unfortunately, the rework process turned one problem into several problems and additional delays in completing the work.

At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.
