Everyone who works there are such nice people. Every time i go, always get the best fresh cut i can imagine. Very affordable. I walked in at 6:02, didnt realize they close at 6, and the two barbers both stop closing up and gave me a cut. They didnt rush, treated the cut with quality, and were still friendly like every other time i go. Best place to get a haircut on all of long island. read more

Steve and Alex are the best! They do quality work for an affordable price and the atmosphere is great. They engage every customer every time. It's like an old school neighborhood shop that if I wanted to get a cup of coffee and just hang out I could. The wait times are minimal. They usually have 3 barbers on staff sometimes four. Walk right in and done quickly. Can't ask for more. Great business. Highly recommend read more

Steve is the only one I let touch my hair. I see every few weeks, and have been doing so for the past 12 years. He is that awesome at what he does. The shop is easy to get to, has parking across the street, and a great place to relax and enjoy your time while getting a cut and shave. read more

Good neighborhood barbershop. The two brothers Alex and Steve give good haircuts. Sometimes they hire new people to cut hair, that has never gone well for me. If you are new to this shop then you should insist on one of the first two chairs. These are good guys I have been coming here for 10+ years. I read two previous bad reviews here. One stated that the "skinny guy" gave a bad haircut. I know who you are talking about, he made a mess of my head too. He no longer works there. Another one made mention of inappropriate jokes. I have never seen these guys speak inappropriately in front of women or children. This is a man's barbershop. Sometimes guys break chops. Maybe that is why I like this place so much. read more

Just got my haircut again. This is the best barber in town. Alex entertained me while Steve cut my hair. Fun place and reasonably priced. read more

I used to come here all the time when I was in high school and now, as a young professional out of college I am completely disappointed by their service after my last visit. I usually get my hair cut elsewhere but all I wanted was a simple shave and shape up so I thought it would be fine to come here. I've had razor bumps from shaving at home so I go in expecting an at least decent treatment for 16$ and not something that I could have done at home. However my expectations were way too high because after about 10 minutes of sitting down all I had received was a shave with the shaver and a mediocre shape up. Obviously they do not get many african americans customers in this area but if I'm charged 20$ I'm expecting some resemblance of basic services as I would receive at any other barbershop. Hot towel, shaving foam, using the straight edge razor to get sharp corners on the shape up...besides the hot towel, these are things I get with EVERY haircut I've had. Even something as small as wiping down my face with alcohol and powder, I DID NOT RECEIVE. I don't understand how someone can give such a mediocre service and have the audacity to charge for it, I'm completely disappointed and will not be returning. Save your money and go anywhere else because I know I will be. read more

Best barbershop around with by far the most friendly (and funny) and staff you'll find. If you're looking for a clean cut from someone with decades of experience, come to Steve's. You will not be disappointed! read more

The best barbershop in town. Owned by the ingenious Steve and Alex, twin brothers. They know all there is to know not only about cutting hair, shaving , trimming, whatever it takes. "Perfection Personified". Old world style barber shop with a modern outlook. You can always just pop in for a few good words in between haircuts too, and might as well bring your broken watch along, they are expert watchmakers as well. The kind of place, where people congregate for not only haircuts, but a game of chess and while there , check out their fancy painted bathroom. read more

No doubt the best barber shop in town. The haircuts are top notch and the prices are great. If you don't believe me come check this place out. Btw saw a few celebrities here such as Lou Dibella, boxing promotor and Adam Schefter, ESPN analyst. On top of that their service is impeccable. I was shocked when i heared they also specialize with watches and jewlery.Enough said. read more

I'm 18 years old and I've been going here since I was probably 3 years old. The guys are great, efficient and very nice. I would recommend this to any of my friends when they ask where I get my haircut. The shop itself is in a great location, it's very clean on the inside with a TV to watch while you're waiting! read more

These guys only know how to do one haircut and that is the one haircut they give you no matter what you ask for. They always cut hair too short. They try to be funny and tell dirty jokes and it is just in bad taste. Gave them too many tries no longer go there. read more
