Good neighborhood barbershop. The two brothers Alex and Steve give good haircuts. Sometimes they hire new people to cut hair, that has never gone well for me. If you are new to this shop then you should insist on one of the first two chairs. These are good guys I have been coming here for 10+ years. I read two previous bad reviews here. One stated that the "skinny guy" gave a bad haircut. I know who you are talking about, he made a mess of my head too. He no longer works there. Another one made mention of inappropriate jokes. I have never seen these guys speak inappropriately in front of women or children. This is a man's barbershop. Sometimes guys break chops. Maybe that is why I like this place so much. read more

I used to come here all the time when I was in high school and now, as a young professional out of college I am completely disappointed by their service after my last visit. I usually get my hair cut elsewhere but all I wanted was a simple shave and shape up so I thought it would be fine to come here. I've had razor bumps from shaving at home so I go in expecting an at least decent treatment for 16$ and not something that I could have done at home. However my expectations were way too high because after about 10 minutes of sitting down all I had received was a shave with the shaver and a mediocre shape up. Obviously they do not get many african americans customers in this area but if I'm charged 20$ I'm expecting some resemblance of basic services as I would receive at any other barbershop. Hot towel, shaving foam, using the straight edge razor to get sharp corners on the shape up...besides the hot towel, these are things I get with EVERY haircut I've had. Even something as small as wiping down my face with alcohol and powder, I DID NOT RECEIVE. I don't understand how someone can give such a mediocre service and have the audacity to charge for it, I'm completely disappointed and will not be returning. These guys only know how to do one haircut and that is the one haircut they give you no matter what you ask for. They always cut hair too short. They try to be funny and tell dirty jokes and it is just in bad taste. Gave them too many tries no longer go there. read more
