I have been a patient of Dr Spencer for many years and he is the most polite, knowledgeable and caring Doctor! The "reception staff"... They are not always the best. Some receptionists there are better than others. All my family goes to this clinic, including my mother and my children. My mom loves her doctor ( a young male). They have an emergency clinic, and I suggest you call first to check which Doctor is staffing the emergency room first! My mom was told she was having a heart attack by a female Indian national Doctor. After being rushed via ambulance to the hospital., and undergoing numerous tests ....The ER doctors said she was fine and were puzzled that the female doctor from India diagnosed a heart attack. Doctor Spencer, however, is a genius in the field of medicine and will give you the best care of any Doctor. He is in the top one percent of Best in Class!!

I tend to get ear infections a lot, so I end up seeing him about once every 3 months. He explains everything in ways that you understand and has a sense of humor that is refreshing at the doctor's office. A few months ago, he even stayed late for me. I had woken up on a Friday not feeling great, thought I was coming down with something. Around 11:45 am, I finally decided that maybe going to the doctor was a good idea. I called his office and they told me that he was off at noon that day, but how soon could I get there? I was in my pajamas, but got dressed as quickly as I could and rushed over there. It was about 12:20, so maybe waiting 20 minutes for me doesn't sound so crazy, but he was really pleasant about it and I appreciated his thoughtfulness, especially since if he hadn't offered to wait, I would have had to wait 3 more days until Monday to see him. The receptionist here is very very nice too, making pleasant conversation while you're checking in, which is really nice, when you think about everyone she checks in everyday. The location is pretty good, although making a left turn out when you're leaving can be very difficult.

Dr. Hibbard is very gentle, and highly intelligent. Perfect qualities for a general practitioner. Wendy Midgely is the PA, and it's the first time I've ever felt like a PA is MD caliber. I never feel "punished" if I can't book an appointment with Dr. Hibbard, & have to see Wendy instead. Wendy is so funny! I always get a laugh out of visiting with her. But that woman knows her stuff too. I have confidence that either lady in the office will diagnose me correctly. My husband also practices in the medical field. He is the one that referred me to Farmington Family Medicine. Dr. Hibbard is the MD that treats my husband too. Dr. Hibbard isn't a doctor exclusively for the fairer gender! The only downside to the practice is the office personnel. The employee at the front desk, that makes the appointments & checks patients in, always seems to change. But the employee that does the billing, and also interacts with patients is an ornery person! She isn't friendly, and I dislike interacting with her. Fortunately, once I make it past the front desk, I have access to great medical practitioners.

I came in with…read moreStrep Throat, it took them 5 minutes to wait in the lobby, 5 minutes to run the strep test, and 5 more minutes for Dr. Johnson to come in and diagnose me. It was probably the fastest, yet most productive Dr.'s visit I had. He was willing to work with our limited insurance, and there's an attached Pharmacy that has very good prices. 30 Amoxicillin pills (generic) were just over $10 without any prescription insurance. Dr. Johnson also strives to prescribe the cheapest medicine rather than taking advantage of the insurance companies, something I really like. The only complaint I would have, making it 4 instead of 5 stars, is that the walls are razor thin. You can hear the conversations in the room next door - just be aware of that, but it wasn't much of a problem for me. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson for your next visit!
