I Hired Scott in August 2021 for my small non traditional wedding. From the start things were off…read more He said he wanted to come 1/2 hour early to take pics of our wedding/reception area.. I only received a picture of crackers and taco dip tray.... He did make afew judgmental comments, which I overlooked both comments. he said I'd have my photos in 2 weeks. They took 18 weeks and he NEVER returned one call, text, or voicemail. I get the pics and they are horrible. NO pics of me and my guests, every picture of me and my family looks like I'm going to drop my baby. He was here for 4 hours and took pics for 2 hours and ate/socialized with our mutual friends the rest of the time. I again called, emailed, texted... he was supposed to call me "next weekend when he gets home from vacation"... per his assistant Tara, whom also rarely replies and when she does she automatically gives a story of why she's replying so late. Again, never heard from him. I reached out again, no replies. I picked out probably 20-30 pics to make a photo album. I used his link to do so because it said it was $200. With a $50 deposit. Paid the $50. Got a bill for $500. For the album. I replied that I wanted my $50 refunded because they advertised the album was $200 not $500. Scott FINALLY replies after 1.5 years and said"gees, we're not trying to rip you off"... and that was 6 months ago. I let it go because I should have known better to go through them for my album.. 5 months later, which is April, 2023 I received my $50. Refund. Knowing he is also a"pastor" is mind boggling. Think twice before using Great Scott images.

As of today March 1st 2019, we have been ignored at times and what seems like lied to at others. The photographer has repeatedly failed to respond to emails asking for an update on our photos. The original contract said we would have our photos by 6 weeks following the event. It has now been 17 weeks and no photos or even word that they haven't been lost. What we thought was a great choice has now been a terrible choice as we have no idea if our only wedding photos are lost forever. Terrible customer service.

Getting a good wedding photographer can be really stressful, but these two put my now husband and I at ease right from the beginning. We found their site after a quick search of Door County photographers (there's more than you'd think!) and we saw true talent. Now, our aesthetic is a little different than the typical DC vibe: rather than bright and beachy, we were looking for a dark, romantic forest-feel. We saw a lot of styles represented in their portfolio so we contacted them. We knew within minutes these were the folks for us; they even helped us narrow in on the chapel that we later ended up using! Another huge milestone crossed off the list. Over a year later, we had one engagement session and our wedding taken care of. I still get compliments on our engagement set and have had some of the images re-posted by jewelry enchantress Pamela Love and Loho Bride. As I write this review I've seen a few sneak peeks of our wedding images (the editing process is extensive) but from what I have seen, I am THRILLED.
