After we went under contract, my realtor recommended we increase the sale price by $4000 and then give it back to the buyer in "concessions" at closing (to aid the buyer with his loan qualification). Little did I know that I would be paying capital gains and realtor commissions and 2% Colorado sales tax on that "$4000". Among other things, my realtor actually changed the closing date (by 2 weeks) without bothering to tell me, literally leaving me less than 24 hours to find a notary and overnight the closing docs (right in the middle of the coronavirus national shut-down). I am sure the other agents in this company are fine, but mine did me no favors. Never felt like he was looking out for my best interest.

When we showed up at his office (on a SUNDAY!), he had over 8 listings scheduled for us, rental information on each, and other real estate details. Both Mike and Mo showed us around, providing us with cool drinks and additional information on the neighborhood for each listing. We went under contract the same day and because we live in Denver, Mike handled so many things for us: scheduling/coordinating contractors and inspectors, going through the property before closing (sending us videos of the walk through), and he is even removing an extra couch that was left behind with his own truck. Talk about a perfect service! They had our back throughout the whole process and Mike made sure that we did not spend more than we needed. Over the Christmas holidays, I rented Teri Sweetin's private residence. I would not rent from her…read moreagain. Her house was filthy. It had dog hair from all three of her dogs in every nook and cranny (underneath beds, counters, etc...). We are still fighting her over our security deposit 17 days after we left the rental. She appears to be making up back charges as she goes. I would not rent from her again or use her as a real estate agent, given this experience. It should be noted that I have never posted an online review. But the bad and ongoing expensive experience prompted me to get motivated.
