After finding out I was on a time crunch not only did he set aside what he was doing to assist me, He got me exactly what I wanted, informed me of a sale that allowed my request to fall within my budget, and even offered flight friendly packaging. I was overly impressed at the good old fashioned way he did business. Fast forward 37 years, and here is a second hand store in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen in the same block as our favorite Applewine Restaurant. My mom loves garage sales and flea markets. She insisted on checking it out. Whereas she found a T-shirt, we found tons of dress shirts, a blazer, and great souvenir bags for gifts when we return to California. The prices were slightly higher than at US thrift stores but shirts were all under 10 Euros. We were happy!
