She treated me terribly and has zero compassion for other people, and provided harmful advice. This used to be a good place with kind doctors who worked here. I don't know what happened. Quit making assumptions and trying to clump me into a group of addicts. Making assumptions in medical will get you into trouble. And quit charging people when you offered zero help. Expecting to get paid to do absolutely nothing is why our healthcare is so far in the dumps. Shame on you. It's fraud snd abuse.

The doctor basically said well if you're not gonna get the medication I'm not gonna prescribe it and waste everybody's time. He then proceeded to walk out the door. Instead of talking to my daughter, about other options or explaining why Tamiflu would be good for my grandson. He basically did nothing. He did not examine my grandson's ears, nor listen lungs which I would think would be protocol for someone who has the flu. If this is the way you treat your patient or the concerned parent I would suggest you need to go find a different job. His foot was bleeding profusely when we went in and the foot was wrapped in a towel. He is elderly and had a hip replacement 2 wks ago. Also is a diabetic and a bleeder. At the desk, they were more concerned with checking to make sure we could pay rather than check the bleed. They went through detailed information, asking if he still took some meds, several of which he had taken only 1 time 20 yrs back. I understand the need to check records but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know the most important thing is to stop the bleed. There were at least 5 people working and only 1 patient. Although we were grateful for Samantha's cleaning and bandaging, overall we didnt feel totally confident of the judgement of the heavily tattooed staff.

There was very little wait time, everybody was friendly and helpful. The whole medical team did an excellent job, they made her feel really safe and helped her with her nerves. They did a great job of figuring out what was wrong, telling us what we needed to do. Really appreciated the service that we received and appreciated that there was not a long wait time for triage or to be seen by a provider.

They always blame the insurance company. Most of the hoop jumping to try and get her to a facility was done by friends NOT by the hospital. In the end they said they would charge her $1800 a day if she stayed past noon and she is on Medicaid. They sent her home with stitches in her hip because of bone being taken to put in her foot along with rods in toes. No weight bearing for weeks. When they released her I asked them "Can you guarantee her safety if she goes home, knowing that she cannot use a walker or even go to the bathroom without help?" The hospital nurse said "No we cannot guarantee her safety". WOW!! There it is right there - money money money. I don't know one person who has EVER been treated like this at Northwest Specialty Hospital. The doctors are amazing, the food is amazing - the mangement is aweful and the communication is even worse. I asked one of the nurses if she could send a case worker or advocate to talk to us and her answer was, "Well, if Ican find one". How pathetic that. Never would I ever rcommend this hospital to anyone. I will however, continue to go there for lunch - amazing food!

Due to an influx of people coming in with chest pain I just kept getting pushed back. She was honest and very remorseful about how long we had been waiting. Even though I was unable to get treated their kindness and and concern for me made me feel very taken care of. They also referred us to a urgent care that was able to get me in almost immediately. I highly recommend this urgent care purely due to their kind staff, BUT get into the queue online prior to going in! I wish we had known about this.
