Really nice girls on the phone! I think Emily and Caroline were their names, they were super helpful with getting all my questions answered!

Hub At Columbia

Hi Adrian, Thanks for your very cold note and your lack of…read morebeing workable to reduce your late fees under these criminal events around The Hub at Columbia.  I am also highly offended by your inferences. I will make sure my review of The Hub reflects this poor experience with The Hub at Columbia.management and the fact that people can't trust the place and may get robbed there as we were. I've never had an account at Vero bank.  All other months will show that my payments were made from a Bank of America account. As I said we passed the username and password over to the criminal as they said all the right things that made them seem like they dealt with the hub office. My ex husband and I think the theft was an inside job at The Hub. We will tell the police accordingly and my daughter and I have a track record of many text exchanges with the criminal to prove our intent of good wishes to get the hub paid on time according to the lease and also proves our trust in a subleaser who seemed to have a very strange inside knowledge of how the hub operates to the point we have a record of transferring over May and April Hub rent over to the criminal. I understand The Hub Columbia went through an ownership change at the same time that this criminal activity took place and we find it such a very strange coincidence. Your unwillingness to work with us on a reduction of late fees under these criminal circumstances is very poor judgement and I will say so on online reviews. We will never rent from any facility that is run by the people that own the hub again - Core Spaces & Amplify Development Co. Marisa

I am going on my second year at living at the Hub and it was a regret re signing here. I pay extra…read moremoney to "feel safe" and park in the basement, yet service elevators are down every week at least and I have to find different methods of getting to my car which is sketchy and takes 15 minutes. Not to mention I pay for the gate doors to be closed in the basement yet they have been open all year! I have never felt safe there even living on a high up floor I have ran into multiple homeless people screaming at me in the hub elevators and in our trash room! Now halfway through the year the hub is now trying to fix the broken gate issue when they had all summer to do it. To "fix it" means they shut it down so are cars are locked in the basement ALL DAY and can not get out when we have jobs, school, etc.

The Nine Columbia

This apartment complex is one of the worst my child has lived in. The front desk is terribly rude -…read morethe manager Morgan Brown was condescending, MEAN, and would not even have a conversation. The apartment itself was in poor condition, the maintenance requests were rarely answered and when they were they "fixed" the issue and it was broken again two days later. The resident portals were never correct and the staff did little to try and fix this issue. The gym equipment was always broken, the hallways smelled of pee and fast food, the pool that we paid extra for did not work for half the year and it again shut down, the hot tub NEVER worked. The pick and prod you for every little dime, don't even think of getting a security deposit back. The residents were told upon move in that they would be able to use an app on their phone to open doors and that has not been the case AT ALL. My BIGGEST ISSUE: The apartment complex's security issues are HEINOUS - there has been instances that creepy men have gotten into the lobby (doing inappropriate things with himself) and harassed the young women and followed them into elevators and when this was brought to the manager Morgan Brown's attention she told the resident it was a "public" place and she could do nothing about it and dismissed the scared resident completely. If you have a daughter DO NOT LET HER LIVE HERE.

The Nine is truly the worst apartment experience I have had. From the moment we moved in the WiFi…read moredidn't work, even asking the front desk multiple times and calling the WiFi it still has showed no improvements. No one in my apartment has been able to watch TV all semester. Additionally our dishwasher is not powerful at all and doesn't clean the dishes resulting in us handwashing dishes all semester. Furthermore our washer and dryer has broke multiple times this semester and even after fixing it, it still does not function consistently. This semester we also experienced a water leak in our ceiling resulting in our ceiling dripping dirty water into our apartment. Even after notifying the Nine about this issue it still took several weeks to fix. Our water heater doesn't work for the shower and my entire apartment and other residents take cool showers as there is never any hot water, even in the morning. It feels like the parking gate to enter the garage is constantly broken and not functioning due to cars hitting the post, which takes atleast a week to fix resulting in nonresidents parking in the garage. Finally there is not enough parking for residents. Multiple residents I know still pay for parking and don't have a designated parking spot. There are also only 4 guest parking spots for the entire apartment meaning guests rarely have a place to park. I don't recommend living here and would highly encourage looking into other apartments.

This place blows, it's campus housing without any benefits. You still have RAs doing room checks,…read morebut nothing else I've called the RA on duty number and no one picked up twice. Everything is falling apart the floors are stained my blinds fall when I touch them. Also all of the facilities are minimal. Like the gym doesn't even have a squat rack, the coffee machine is always out, and the computers are outdated. Also if you want to drive to class you should just kill yourself parking at the place you already live is 1000 dollars and the garage isn't even full it's at like 50% capacity. Also the thermostats are really sensitive so if you open your oven or boil something it will go off and all your roomates will attach each of your limb to the bumper of their cars and drive off in opposite directions. Also my couch has no springs if you sit in it you sink straight to the bottom of hell. The trash rooms are unavailable for probably the first two months of school and when they are they are usually backed up. The maintenance team takes forever to respond to anything I had water leaking from my roof and took them about two weeks for them to fully fix it. If you live with your bedroom next to the pool you will have people blasting music for the first two months of school and partying so sorry if you needed to sleep for an exam but Tyler, Darius, and Kevin Nguyen are throwing an epic rager right now. Also this isn't there fault but the people above me just like power slam each other into the floor and it sounds like Pearl Harbor is happening above me. Also the common space lights must be candles because they are so dim and you can't see anything without turning all of them on. In short Park Place is epic it's so epic you can't have any of the epicness I get to keep it all which is why you shouldn't live here.

When your Nextdoor neighbor is a DJ who you have complained about many times, the management will not do shit. If you plan on studying or doing work in ur apartment, get some noise canceling headphones. There is dog piss and shit all over the outdoor decks and grass outside. There is broken glass bottles all over the property, which never get cleaned up. Most appliances barely work. My fridge was broken and got a half ass fix, then completely broke and I didn't have a fridge for four days. There was no urgency. Toilets always run, the dryer doesn't dry clothes, and there is one working elevator. The only people doing their job here are the cleaning ladies. Seriously consider this as ur last option when apartment hunting.

You have to pay $20 a month for basic parking that you still might have to walk a few minutes to get to the door, meanwhile the free parking for residents is a gravel lot that is so small people literally have to block eachother in to get a spot. This is ridiculously insensitive to the people who live here, and it came with no warning! ‼ The worst of all came from the flooding, people can expect thousands worth of damage from having water so deep it literally flooded their cars, again with NO WARNING or prevention measures by the owners of Olympia mills. ‼
