Continuing my penchant for bite-sized local design companies (see Day Three and Supercool...) here's Stereographic. They do design, and then some. The 'then some' being more tangible, physical things like photography and made media that they incorporate into their designs. They're a sort of mixture between a design company and an art project. Which I like a lot. It's hard to describe them properly, to be honest - the best thing that I could suggest would be to have a look at their website to get an idea of their scope.
As do plenty of other people so it seems: they have worked with some fairly big names, such as the BBC, Warner Music and the New Scientist - but also really enjoy just working with individuals and on small-scale projects. Personally, I love their work: their ideas and pitches are always a breath of fresh air, not afraid to think outside the box, for want of a better term, if needs be.
