Inside, this place is so cohesive and "put together". That the whole time I was there I never picked up on the fact that it is actually comprised of over 100 different vendors. The place just flowed so smoothly and so beautifully. It's huge, so it flowed for over 12,000 square feet. I saw everything from home decor, bath & body products, jewelry, clothing, a place to customize olive oils, candies, nuts, and more! Also, I would be remiss if I did not mention the Manager and staff who were all very welcoming and helpful. What a great experience!

I figured it didn't hurt to drop in just to see their selection. You first walk into the framing side of the store that also houses a lot of neat signs and house knickknacks, candles, etc. The adjoining store attached to it is for booklovers such as myself. Used paperbacks are my specialty and I love them more than new hardbacks. Every book in the store was less than $3.77 with most on the clearance rack going for .50. They even had bundled books for certain authors (Dean Koontz, James Patterson, and Janet Evanovich, etc.) that would still go for $3.77 for three of them. I ended up finding a great find on the perfect coffee table book, a sign for my woman cave room, and 4 softbacks that came out to 14 bucks! Four stars for them not having the greatest selection on travel and books related to food/cooking. Those were a bit outdated.

Everyone was RIGHT. We had a wonderful experience at this Soda Shop and our taste buds just cannot forget the delicious shakes we had here. On one side of the restaurant is a small, old school diner-style seating area, and on the other is miscellaneous merchandise for sale. It was colorful, lively and the aroma of ice cream and waffle cones was overwhelmingly good. The staff behind the counter were so nice to us and shared their recommendations. I decided to order the "Raspberry Nutella Shake." It was exactly what it sounds like--ice cream, raspberry, and Nutella all in one. SO. DELICIOUS. I highly recommend it. It was creamy, sweet, and just perfect. It came topped with whipped cream and a cherry. We were told that they didn't have volunteers to run it. Hmmmm... the Mercantile had a wide selection of merchandise from decor to jewelry and even some antique furniture way in the back.
