I honestly can't imagine those early years (or now) without them. What means the most to me is the complete trust I have in their care. Even when I've been traveling for work in other countries--literally on the other side of the world--I have never worried once. I always know Summit is safe, loved, and having the very best time. And he does have the best time--he still runs in with the same excitement as he did on day one. (I cried that first day when he was just a pup and it was my first time leaving him, but Cami hugged me and told me he was going to be just fine and most happy there - and those words are still true to this day!) It's truly his home away from home. He loves all of his fur friends (he made so many, and even I did too from A Bark Idea), lives for water time with the hose (those pictures are the best), or the time they brought in bubbles and Summit has never been more blown away, and I absolutely love the daily photos and updates that keep me connected no matter where I am. :) There is simply no place better in the South Bay (Hermosa), and now with their beautiful new location in Marina del Rey/Venice, it's even more convenient for us. :) I recommend them to everyone I know with a pup--and when you go, look for Summit on the walls... he's one of their photo models! :)

After I spoke with Tracy I told my friend that I was going to the event with and he said "I know Tracy, she is highly recommended and has a stellar reputation with taking care of our furry friends. While I was at my event she sent lots of pictures while he was on his walk and hanging happy with his new puppy friends, it gave me peace of mind. I had a very disappointing experience at Petco this past Saturday (04/04/26) with their grooming…read moreservice. I dropped off my 6-month-old miniature poodle mix--this was his 4th time being groomed, and he has never had any issues before. He is hyperactive, which I had already noted for the groomers. I was assisted by Sofia, who asked what length I wanted for his haircut. Unlike previous visits where groomers show examples, she didn't. I told her I wasn't sure and mentioned it's usually the second-to-last shortest. She responded, "so a number 2 in humans?"--again, I said I wasn't sure. She said she would show me, but never did. After weighing him (15 lbs), I asked about his weight and she replied, "probably all that food he's been eating," which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. About two hours later, I received a call saying my dog bit her. This was extremely surprising given his history--he has never shown aggression or bitten anyone. They told me he had "a little attitude" after being bathed and then bit her during shaving. When I picked him up, he was acting very unlike himself--distant and withdrawn. Once home, I checked him and noticed he was bleeding. I immediately called back, and the response I received was concerning. They referred to him as "the one who tried biting the groomer," which conflicted with what I had initially been told. After putting me on hold to "ask the groomers," they came back and said, "the only logical explanation is when he was trying to bite, he must've bit something." That explanation did not sit right with me at all. My dog left the appointment physically injured and emotionally off, despite having no prior issues with grooming. I feel the situation was not handled with transparency or care. I strongly advise others to be cautious when using grooming services here.
