Most estate planning attorneys charge a big amount to do your trust and documents and say, "call me if you have questions" . Karen has a "Care Plan" for a modest price per year she will do a review, unlimited phone calls etc. and ever 2-3 years will re update your trust to make sure the language in it goes with current laws etc. I know more than the average bear about these things and she really knows her stuff. Not sure what the Brat review was but the fact that there is not a real name makes it suspect. This is not a paid review or relative helping out. Keep going Karen.

Karen's approach is very rare in the legal profession, in that she truly explores a client's goals, objectives and needs when designing a plan. She then creates a completely customized estate plan, rather than simply changing names and dates in a boiler-plate document - as most attorneys I've encountered tend to do. Further than this, though, Karen and her excellent staff do not stop at the customized documents. An estate plan is absolutely worth nothing more than the paper it is printed on if it is not properly funded and maintained. That's where the Law Offices of Karen Brady, PC really shine in my opinion. They work tirelessly to identify and properly title all estate assets so that they will be included in the client's wishes at time of incapacity or death. The vast majority of attorneys who claim to be "estate planners" simply send their clients out the door with a bundle of papers that do nothing because they haven't put any of the client's assets into the trusts via proper titling and beneficiary designations. That never happens with Karen and her staff. I've referred all of my clients with estate planning needs to Karen over the past 15+ years, and have had her handle my own and my family-members' estate plans, as well. I highly recommend Karen Brady as your estate planning attorney.

Billing was reasonable and perfectly clear. The work was finished in a timely manner. I am a retired legal investigator (working exclusively with trial lawyers) so I have been in many law offices, and I am glad we could have our needs met in our own neighborhood.

While the reason the invoices built up was completely my mistake, the approach of this firm to the dishonest client could still have been way better. Mr. Branaugh is a nice guy. But when dealing with dishonest people who refuse to pay, you (sadly) need someone "mean." You will not find that here. The firm approached my client way too softly and I needed to pull teeth to get the firm to really pursue them-and even then, interaction was frustratingly lax. Knowing my client, the soft approach only encouraged them to be more boldly adverse to paying. I ended up with $0.00 when I think at least SOMETHING could have been obtained for my many months of work. The reason for my low rating is simply that-not receiving any payment aside-I did not get the pursuit of the client I paid for. On top of that, services purchased, including those recommended by the firm, were expensive. If the firm was honest, at least part of what I paid would be refunded.
