[Fun fact: we met each other at a brother of mine's wedding YEARS ago in the early 2010s and ends up styling my hair. It was so nicely done that I really didn't want to undo all of her hard work. It was one of the most simplest but prettiest hairstyles ever done on me.] Fast forward to 2021 and I finally get her to do my hair. It took me a very long time to find a good hair stylist who listens to their client's wants and needs and doesn't BS and Michelle checks all the boxes. (It helps that we have similar hair types.) She always makes my hair look great that I feel great in the end. I'm loving the Marina - Chestnut location near Van Ness. Have yet to visit the other spot, but I'm sure the vibes will match. It's always great seeing her and playing catch up and definitely very professional! Can't wait to see your business thrive!

Michelle captured this look PERFECTLY I was so thrilled and grateful. She is an expert and did an incredible job. I told her I wanted something bold and fun and just let her take over. I still of course was nervous by this and asked her tons of questions during the process (lol sorry for the annoyance, Yasmine!) but of course ended up loving the final result! I'm naturally dark hair so this was actually a two-step process to get me to this hot pink. The first step got me to a peach which was also very pretty but again, her artistic ability took over and she suggested a deeper touch-up and I'm glad she did! Ive loved every step of this color: from the first peach, to the hot pink, to the fading to a bubble gum pink, to now leftover bleach that just makes me look like I have blonde tips. This woman knows what she's doing and is a joy to be around. Book with her and you won't be disappointed!

I've since come back for blonding, toning, and bang trims and she is truly wonderful every time I visit. The love and care she puts into perfecting the details of your hair treatment are unparalleled. I really feel her passion for the holistic approach and Inner Sense product line, and I have so much respect for the way she puts your hair's health first, for example, taking a few sessions rather than one bleach to the shade you ultimately want since that will leave your hair stronger and not fried. I never really understood hair-stylist-loyalty until I met Yasmine, but I will never trust anyone else again with my hair now! Yasmine is an artist who's honed her craft, but to me she is much more than just a hair stylist - I consider her a true friend! :)

Fortunately, for me, one of the ladies that work, there was the mother of a child that came to my door for Halloween. She came in the most impressive outfit by the way it was honoring the day of the dead. Anyway, I have to say that their showing up at my Halloween door when they did was timely because she cuts hair. It was there. We had a moment to talk about her culture and she told me she does haircuts and I needed one. I got to the shop and as I entered, I noticed immediately that it was all black with tons of chrome so it blinged and had music filling the air and the big screen TV kept it active. She and her workmate were waiting for customers, and I walked in. She took me immediately via the phone call. She began to work on my hair being very careful to ask exactly what I wanted to make sure she didn't get too short or too long and after I got my haircut, I was very happy because I like it very short when I get a haircut because it'll grow. The shop itself was very clean. All the equipment was clean and the experience was very pleasant. They're in the town of San Pablo so if you were in the area and need a haircut, I would recommend this place. Obviously they do men hair and women's but I'm not sure if they do the hair for children either way I would highly recommend visiting this business.

Unfortunately it will mean that I probably won't be coming back. During my last occurrence, I had requested a 1 faded to a 3. Somehow I got this awkward patch where my hair wasn't cut properly and it was left with something closer to a patchy 6/7 where it should of been faded to a 3. Normally, I'd just brush this off as a one-off occurrence but just today it happened again. My barber, Art, has always been good to me and it's sad to say I won't be coming here no more. Today was kind of the three strikes you're out rule. I noticed that during his cuts that he hasn't been as detailed as he used to. I've had a few run ins with getting cut with a straight razor but today I had two cuts from some lack of attention. It's been a couple times this has happened in the past 7 months since I've been attending this place and suffice to say, I've never had that happen elsewhere so it's a bit disappointing to be cut so many times. As for the picture attached, it shows the cuts mentioned above as well as given pointed tips when this time I asked for the sides to be tapered. Ultimately, I think this place could have been the one but it's quality hasn't been the most consistent lately and causing me to reconsider a new barbershop the next time I get a cut

******CASH ONLY!!!*******…read more I have lived in El Sobrante for about 5 years and have come to this little plaza where Bob's is located for about that long, but never needed their services until recently when I decided to do a big chop. What's challenging for me is not just finding a shop that's able to cut my hair, but one that will treat me with respect because I am likely going to be the only female in there when I go. THIS IS THAT BARBER SHOP! I was greeted upon entering, told it wouldn't be long (I was the second patron in there, the other was finishing up in the chair). Bob asked me what I wanted, clarified before he started, and went to work. He explained what he was doing during the haircut. He made sure I was happy with the cut before I left as well. As the only female in that shop (there were 4-5 guys there) I felt as though my business was desired and respected. I love the job he did, for the price I paid, and the environment is welcoming. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
