It is disturbing that he is still employed here and placed in charge of patient care. No one should ever be treated the way I was by this man. I was repeatedly dismissed, belittled, dehumanized, unheard, and invalidated. As someone battling a serious illness, I was stripped of my dignity simply to receive treatment. There were many days I wished I had succumbed to my illness rather than endure the way I was treated under his care. His behavior caused lasting damage, including severe trust issues with doctors, which is especially harmful for someone with a chronic and serious medical condition. I suffered significant trauma as a result of this experience, trauma that I continue to live with to this day. That is why I am writing this review years later. The nurses in the infusion room were the only positive part of this facility. They showed compassion and care that I did not receive from Dr. Kashef.

She did have many Malpractice suits against her. Thank God she can NO LONGER hurt anyone else. She did a radical Mastectomy on me. and I did "NOT HAVE CANCER". one of her nurses called me at home 3 days after my surgery, to tell me she over heard her "Dr. Spotts" talking about how the lab messed up my labs, in the beginning. All 14 of my Lymph nodes were completely negative and that I did NOT have Cancer (But!! WE ARE GOING TO MAKE HER DO chemo & radiation to COVER OUR ASS). (Dr. Spotts words exactly) Thank God for that nurse, and The Lord I didn't have Cancer... BUT I DID REFUSE any type of Chemo & radiation. And here I am 24 yrs later. Thank God STILL cancer free. BUT have had to live my life with the damage she did to me. Completely gutting my Right breast. I have been thru 3 botched reconstructions. And I think of her every time I look in the mirror. She is an arrogant "better than thou" disgusting human being, with Zero morals. And No conscience. NOT ONLY did she take my right breast "And instead of doing the morally proper thing , by making things Right with me. (of course the damage could not be reversed) BUT do some kind of a settlement with me." She was insisting that I do Radiation, Chemo, and put that poison in my body to cover HER ASS!!! She took an oath.. WHAT kind of a Dr. does this??? I did not Sue because I wanted to protect The nurse. she was afraid of losing her job if her testimony had to be used in court. But like I said She told me the true. and saved me from going thru Chemo and radiation. Thank the Lord I am still Cancer Free after 24 yrs. since She did this to me. The patient went to another doctor and she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Dr Spotts was reprimanded by the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners for 3 years. A mild slap on the hand as far as I see it. A few years ago, I was scheduled to see this doctor. When I arrived and met her, My spirit told me that she was not the one. I left and never returned and I thank God for that. Ladies, please trust your instincts when selecting a doctor. It is your body and your choice of physicians. In addition, research the doctor's background and read their reviews.

Even trying to leave a message for your doctor is painfully difficult. These people do not like their jobs and when you call they act like you are interrupting their day and can't be bothered. I would avoid Optum at all cancer care at all cost. Until they remove or re-educate or find different people to answer their calls nothing will change. It may appear small but when you need to talk to your doctor you will know EXACTLY what I am referring to.
