We were here recently on a sunny Saturday afternoon and there were plenty of flowers in bloom. You can also see the Heinrich Hertz Tower from the park. Highly recommend to visit the park on sunny day and/ or during the spring season.

I don't take any pictures as I don't want to post pictures of other peoples children. But it's a great spot to take the kids to play. There is a water play area as well. There are places to buy food and a beer garden as well. Also a great spot to take pictures! Loved it here!!

It's great on a cold winter's day because everything is so nice and tropical in there - the heating costs must be enormous! Otherwise this place is not really big - two tropical rooms and one filled with cactuses. I was attracted mainly to cactus part of the garden. Basically you can get trough in like 10 min. It wouldn't surprise me if this is the world's largest collection of different Dahlia species - there certainly are a lot. At one end there's a little shop selling icecream, and the other end gives you access to Volkspark.
