The cafe is very elegant, quite, peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed wonderful cakes and coffee everyday for the whole month. Then we would walk up to the castle and have a drink. I highly recommend.

Fast forward to us driving down the mountain...tired....sleepy...cold. We then find this gem in the middle of a very scenic place. Beautiful landscape. we were...saved! The place was great. friendly staff, good looking treats and even better food! I had the house special at the moment, white trout! Couldn't have asked for more! It was juicy and flavorful. The potatoes were seasoned very well and to top it off, the gelato (especially the strawberry one) was pretty great! Of course, the beer and coffee were delicious as well!

The employees are very friendly which I find very typical of most Germans. The display case showcases quite a number of delicious looking cakes. The shop is nice, clean, and welcoming. The bakery also has a dining room. This little town in Kirchplatz, Germany has only two bakeries.
