I got a quote on the phone and booked an appointment. Immediately, the person who came told me that they would have to use special equipment so the cost went from $150 to $400 immediately. I didn't have high expectations from this company and got a basically clean carpet except for the area where the carpet meets the walls which remain dirty. Basically their equipment did a good job of cleaning in the middle majority of the arpet but could not clean by walls. I was hoping for more attention to detail since they were charging me more than twice the amount quoted. read more

I had great hopes for this company, i needed my carpet cleaned for the holidays, but after expressing my dissapointment on their 20 mins visit all they were worried about was getting payed. VETERANS , DONT LET THIS COMPANY IN YOUR HOUSE!!!! We had a flood overnight and our property management company called them, not our choice. From the moment they showed up very unprofessional. Could never communicate with us on updates and when moving our items out to repair the house, our personnel items were damaged. New Dryer had the top damaged from putting heavy boxes on it. Missing items, etc. The price for the repairs seem to double when the sound out the insurance company that would cover this matter. When asked about the damage to the new dryer, they sent the same unprofessional person out to take pictures and access the damage, he proceed to suggest it was our fault. Never have heard from them about this matter, to fix or compensate us. So I strongly suggest not to call this company. This company's commercial that runs on the radio is exactly what they say they aren't. If this is how they treat Veterans, I would hate to see how they treat other. We have used this company for several years. They arrive within the time frame agreed upon & the driver calls with a 30 minute alert pre-arrival. They assess the stains and discuss options. I would not use them again. Called on a Thursday morning to schedule a cleaning and to have the carpet tacked back down. They offered a same day service but I had to decline because I was at work so scheduled for Saturday. 30-45 minutes later I get a text that they are on their way. I call to let them know. Saturday is reconfirmed. Friday I get a voicemail that they have to cancel Saturday. Saturday morning I get a call they are on their way! Guy arrives and cleans the carpet but says they can't re-tack carpet on the same day. He schedules us for Monday morning. I get home Monday night only to find it isn't tacked down and doesn't look like it's been re-stretched. Call Tuesday morning and they come back Wednesday. If I could give zero stars, I would. We've used them in the past, and our flooring looked great. This last time was a complete nightmare. The first appointment was scheduled by Garrett, who I understand is one of the managers.. went into our business on Saturday, and no one came. I called (a second time as the first time I called, they told me a technician would call me when they were 30 minutes away.) the second call was me sitting at the office at 10am. The guy was supposed to show up between 8 and 12. The next guy on the phone tells me, "I don't show you scheduled for an appointment today!" We were supposed to have both of our busy offices cleaned, but they can't do laminate which is fine, BUT I specifically scheduled with Garrett!! The guy then tells me, let me get Garrett on the phone. Puts me on hold, comes back and tells me Garrett apologizes and if I schedule in the future, we will get a discount. I end up giving them another chance and schedule again. They schedule, send me confirmation, come out and you can't even tell our floors were done. I watched the guy clean the floors.. nothing was coming out, mind you you have a woven floor.. he says he used concentrated chemicals on it.. I'm so upset with wasting TWO Saturdays. I used to use Zerorez for years. They make you pay extra to remove pet stains and odors and it's not cheap. I did that with the understanding that I wouldn't have this problem reoccur. The last time I had them come out he wanted me to pay again for the pet problem because the stain came back. We actually got in a semi argument because I wanted it redone but wasn't willing to pay the 300 plus bucks again due to the fact I was told the 1st time it would permanently remove this problem. With that company the customer isn't always right. It would cost me about 400 dollars again. I ended up telling the tech no thanks, asking him to go. I then called Steamy Concepts, they came that same day and cleaned my carpets for more than half the price of Zerorez. I will use Zerorez from now on. read more

A very bad service, an attitude that leaves much to be desired of the employees (they played rock music extremely loud, which i usually love but not professional from their side) and then of those from customer service. I called them to clean the travertine floor, they were very superficial, leaving stains and the job half done. A service for which I paid almost 2000 dollars and the travertine still looks like before it was cleaned, there was no polishing whatsoever. I called customer service at least 5 times, each time the answer was: the manager is in a meeting and will contact you back. Steamy Concepts also came to clean the kitchen tile in my home and they did a fantastic job. They not only steamed it, but also used a scrub brush to get the tough to clean spots. I recently had my front room and stairs cleaned by Carl. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and personable. He even helped me move a few pieces of light furniture before cleaning. The whole process was roughly a hour. Saving me a whole day. When I attempt cleaning myself. I have needed my stairs cleaned since moving into my house. I kept putting it off and off. Since it's so hard to do on my own. Finally, I had them cleaned by Steamy Concepts. They came out wonderfully. My stairs look new again. Which was a huge challenge. Well I had water damage that started in August and is still going on. These people showed up apparently they work as a little group, so I asked if they were a ISAA preferred provider they said oh yes absolutely, then I heard them talking on the phone and said absolutely no work was to be done until it was cleared through USAA. They made appointments that were not kept, billed the insurance for things that were not done, damaged my water heater and then sent me a bill for $2400+ above deductible. That is when I found out they were not a USAA provider at all in fact they were called by Cool Willy plumbing not USAA. Then the renovation people also work with them. So I call and ask USAA why I am stuck with this bill they tell me it is a duplicate charge. I called them and they said they have every right to charge it, it is their cost to do business, what?!! I asked about my water heater they damaged and other questions concerning the bill. No answer just sent me another bill. I am a new widow and was uncertain how to deal with all this and they took complete advantage. They are a rip off do not use them!!! read more

We had our carpets cleaned two days ago. Overall they did a good job. There were two very small dirt spots that they missed. Mistakes happen. In order to come back and correct their mistake they will charge an extra $30 and said we should have paid extra to have it cleaned adequately. Another review said they nickel and dime you. They treat their repeat customers terribly and will gouge you on pricing. My husband and I paid 320.00 today for one bedroom with pet treatment, 1 walk in closet and an area rug. In July, we paid 320.00 for same bedroom, closet and three area rugs. What I didn't realize until today, is every time they come they charge more than the previous time for same work. We only got the deal that the advertise, for the first time. I called the manager to discuss these issues, and they couldn't care less. I have a daughter who is a paraplegic and lives independently in Cymarron apartments. She made an appointment for steamy concepts to clean her carpets. After her carpets were cleaned I visited and moved a chair over so it did not hit the wall when I sat down and was very upset to see how dirty the carpet was under the chair. My daughter informed me that the steamy concepts staff had said they don't move heavy furniture. This chair was not heavy and could've been easily moved and would have been a great service to a person with a disability who needed a hand. Steamy concepts does not appear to be the company you would request to clean your carpets if you had a disability or if you were elderly. I am hoping steamy concepts make this right. Update: 2/27 this company honored the money back guarantee for us which I appreciate. Do not use this company for grout cleaning! We hired them last week and paid 400 dollars to clean our tile floors and grout. The agent seemed to be working hard, but after he left and the grout dried it looked much worse than before! Especially in the great room, entry, and kitchen- the most important areas of the house. The back rooms looked better but it was as if he was not changing the water as he cleaned, so he was putting dirty water and chemicals on the grout.
