the service was excellent as always and the specials very well appreciated. The desserts are very good too, too bad they are served in plastic containers not plates. Traditional Mexican Steak house. read more

I want to give it 4 stars, but the little things like serving a Rib Eye Steal medium rare on a sizzling skillet (that splattered on my shirt) keeps them from getting that 4th star. It was cooked perfectly & was very tasty, but I had to take the napkin that was wrapping the chips/crisped whole tortillas because my table didn't have napkins apparently. The weirdest thing would be that my steak came out faster than the ice cold flan. I was sitting there thinking, "I definitely didn't wait this long for my steak." **why don't you serve a medium rare steak on a sizzling skillet you might ask, well it's because if you cooked it right, then you stop cooking. Good thing I had a plate for the "chips" to use for my steak or it would've ended up medium well!** read more

Steak Palenque - Tampiqueña - Mexican Near Me - Torreón, COA

Steak Palenque has been a weekly option for me and my family for years. This is my hometown so I have almost tried every dish in the menu. The service is amazing, people are really nice and the place is really traditional Mexican decor. Prices are accessible for everyone, but they also have this cool promotions. You get every day, all day long 2x1 on all alcoholic beverages. As well, you can get your date's dinner for free on Friday evenings so that is definitively a plus! There are several cool areas within the restaurant to be in, the inside smokers place (my personal favorite), the regular non-smoking area, but then, they also good this cool terrace to be whenever the weather is nice. I would definitively recommend this place if you are a grill lover, grilled steaks specially are to love! MUST visit. read more
