Attribute A is location, and the views of place Victor Hugo really make this hotel worth staying at. The hotel staff speak good English and the wi-fi works well, too. Note that there is no actual parking on site. The hotel will direct you to a city lot a few blocks away with which it has a discount arrangement. However, there are 2 parking spots on the sidewalk out front (yes, you read that correctly) if you need to drop off your luggage or load up your vehicle. We had the buffet breakfast one morning, and it was fine for what it was, though grossly overpriced (as you'd expect).

Estelle, who works for them, took care of answering many of our questions through email and set up everything for our arrival. It was five of us and we rented a 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment had everything we needed so it was great because we could cook our own food and relax at the apartment watching tv or listening to music after sight-seeing. They have Internet access which was great so that some of the girls could stay in touch with their families through Skype. We brought our own laptop. The location is great! It is close to a main street, downtown, many bakeries and an awesome bar, Loco Mosquito. We walked every where we went or walked to the tram station. The Train Station is also within walking distance. The place was pretty quiet and during the week there is a person in the office from 9-5 which was great because my luggage arrived late from the airport and someone was there to receive it. I would totally go back here and recommend it to people but I am giving it 4 stars because we left the place super clean and still got charged a cleaning fee because we had a group of 5 people and I guess it was part of the deal. Had we known we would still have left it clean but we went out of our way to leave it very, very clean and didn't expect to pay an extra fee for that. Anyways, this place really rocks if you need a nice, comfortable place to stay at that feels like home and is reasonably priced. We were lucky to have it!

It is truly hard to imagine a more enjoyable motorcycling environment than what I found - beautiful, curvy mountain roads in every direction. Traffic was light. The weather was perfect. I rode for about eight hours each day and I feel like every portion was a thrill. It's hard to pick which part was the best - so many contenders! It's motorcycle heaven. I was really impressed with Mike's service. Originally I had planned to merely rent a bike (the BMW F800 GT) and do a self-guided tour, but I am so thankful that Mike showed me around. I am sure I wouldn't have been nearly as ambitious without his knowledge of the area - and that made all the difference. He brought the bike out to my hotel and also helped me get to the bus station on my way out. He really went the extra mile in every way to make sure my trip was smooth. The bike was in great shape and was fun to ride. I also rented a jacket and helmet, which was really nice to be able to do instead of having to pack my own. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to stay! The next time I visit Grenoble I will definitely be contacting M2 once again.

Not a bad place if you are staying in Grenoble, France. First time for me staying here. I usually…read morestay at the Novotel by the train station, which is convienent but this hotel has lot more. It is located a little farther from the down town area, and is a little walk to the Tram, but beyond that there is much more. The parking is nicer, outdoor and garage. It has a lovely sauna and pool, and the restaurant is very nice. In addition, it is a short walk to everything you need, a lovely large grocery store, a department store, many various excellent restaurants, and even a coin laundry matt, for those that don't have the $$$$ to spend on expensive hotel laundry services. There are some nicer hotels right downtown, but for the price this beats them, and the quiet little park does as well. It is my go to for whenever I return to Grenoble, France.
