Despite the chaos, all of the staff handled it so well, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our server Madison was fun, funny, and handled a stressful situation with so much grace, while also serving two tables of twenty-plus guests each. Not to mention, all of the food was f$cking fantastic and the pours were strong! Highly recommend the Korean friend chicken and poke nachos. All of this to say, we don't live in Sacramento but we will definitely be back when we're in town thanks to Madison and the wonderful staff.

I got adventurous today, and ordered the Korean Fried Chicken, which eas served on white rice, with KimChi, Sliced Jalapeños, pickled cucumbers and shredded carrot, with 2 sunny side eggs. The chicken had a nice saucyness to it, that had a very slight heat to it. The breading was not over fried, chicken tender and juicy. All the veggies were fresh and packed full of flavor. Overall, the dish was a nice change of pace and quite delicious. My wife had the Prime Rib sandwich which came with au jus to dip, and fries. Her sandwich was tasty, nice proportions , but the au jus could have been richer. Service and ambiance is on point, with a vibrant bar area that has a wide variety of options from beer to mixed drnks and wine. Parking is available street side at meters, or in several lots or garages within short walking distance.

From what we saw around us, the other dishes looked just as good. Service and coffee, however, could use some improvement. Our server said "I got you" every time she left the table, which became a bit distracting, and she didn't always return with what we asked for. She only checked in once during the entire meal. As for coffee, they clearly don't specialize in it, so I wouldn't bother ordering a cappuccino or anything similar next time. Overall, the food alone makes it worth returning. We'll go back, just with a better idea of what to order, and hopefully with a different server. The bathroom is shared and is part of the building. Odd and not well kept.

You go up to the counter to tell the waitress that you're there and then she told us to take any seat and brought us menus later. The the place is small and the only I don't know a few tables on one side but there's another long row of tables to the right of the counter. There's a secret menu with the QR code to get other items to order. I start out with a hot chocolate with no whip cream and they used a frother so that was nice. So after looking over the menu we finally ordered my wife got the waffles and then she added soft scrambled eggs and hash browns. The waffle came out cold or not cold actually warm the eggs were overcooked and definitely the hash browns were burned. I ordered the kitchen sink with steak and I asked her to do it medium rare the kitchen sink was really good and the steak was cooked perfectly I really liked it. I also got an order of french toast but it came out and it wasn't warm it was only warm but the fruit was really fresh it had didn't lacked flavor We were very disappointed since we saw this on the internet and thought it was going to be really good. The couple behind us had chickens and waffle and their waffle wasn't cooked thoroughly and the chicken was raw and she thought it was frozen so they returned their food I didn't bother returning any of our items I later heard from the waitress that the restaurant was closing. I asked her what was going on and she said that they just got informed Friday that the restaurant was closing Sunday which was tomorrow for good the rent was raised $3,000 more a month and the chef couldn't owner couldn't afford that and told him on Friday that they're closing Sunday so pretty disappointing it could have been or was I supposedly a good place but now because of the price they're not going to

We chose this restaurant as it was one of the only sit down places open. We were seated at a low part of the bar. It took the bartender, maybe 15 minutes to come and take our order. I was dying for coffee, which my fiancé and I both ordered. I've had worse, but I've had way better. Plus, it was just kind of lukewarm. They've got a very limited menu. My first inclination was to go with a burger, but then I saw a Korean barbecue chicken sandwich and I thought why not. I'd be lying if I said the sandwich didn't taste good, but I'm not sure what part of it was the Korean barbecue part. It was literally a fried chicken patty on a bun, that had definitely come in a bag frozen from somewhere. It had a very small amount of slaw that was red in color and I think that was supposed to possibly be the Korean part, but it had almost no flavor. The french fries were good though! I probably would not return to this location unless I'm in a position where I'm starving and it's the only thing to eat.

Although it took a while, we had plenty of time. We were both glad we took the time rather than pick up one of the pre-made sandwiches at the other stores. The turkey was fresh and delicious. All the other ingredients tasted great and bread was good too. The fries were excellent too. We'd certainly get food from here if we ever go through this airport.

It felt like we're in some amusement park, 5 minutes later we got a text that we had a table ready for us. Inside the restaurant felt very cozy yet rowdy (in a good way). We ordered their Famous French Toast, Eggs Tower, Thai Steak & Eggs, and the Madame Cristo. Everything in our meal was delicious, and hit in all the right places. Not to mention our server was holding it down for us providing outstanding service even while pregnant. Great restaurant, great food, great service. Definitely wanting to come back!

It's been years since I've been, mainly because of the long wait times and no reservations on weekends. As a planner, I gravitate toward places where I can make a reservation. However, it was a special occasion, so we committed to it on a holiday weekend. The wait was estimated at 1.5 hours for a party of 7, but it ended up being closer to 40 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad at all. The patio and waiting area are gorgeous and make the wait worth it on a beautiful day. Great shade from the trees, solid service, and a really nice ambiance overall. The menu is massive with a little bit of everything and huge portions, so it's quite hard to decide. I settled on the Madame Cristo because it sounded decadent and somewhere between lunch and breakfast, which felt perfect for brunch. And decadent it was. The cheesy ham and béchamel blended into this super rich, fatty bite balanced by the French toast it was sandwiched between. The eggs on top were almost overkill, but still a welcome addition for some protein. The chipotle raspberry jam was surprisingly good too, almost like a smoky raspberry salsa that added sweetness and helped cut through some of the richness. The potatoes were standard and nothing to write home about. It was definitely a lot, but pretty good and exactly what you expect from a brunch spot like this. I'm not going to say the food is mind-blowing, but it's solid and they have unique dishes, great vibes, and something for everyone to enjoy. Nice to see that Tower Cafe is still doing well after all these years and remains a great place to celebrate special occasions.

I live by Obo, I've been to the other location, and I've been to the Kitchen twice, so I'm familiar with the Selland family. In the end, you are getting a quality meal in a contemporary and clean setting - what more can you ask for? I always opt for the tuna melt. It's a healthy dose of tuna with cheese on buttery sourdough. I've been trying to be more carb conscious, so I opted for the side salad. It was a great lunch. The bread wasn't too greasy and there was a great portion of tuna on it. Each bite was full and buttery. The side salad was beautiful and it was topped off with fresh strawberries which are in season now. It was paired with not overwhelming vinaigrette. There are a plethora of hot items, sandos, salads, and other items to choose from. It's somewhat of elevated, classic lunch joint. My only grip is that it is $$$, but inflation...am I right? Without a drink, i left with a $25 bill. Could have put it in the 3 star realm for me, but it was a solid meal and cool atmosphere. Seems like a great spot for a drink, to eat outside, or for a casual, healthy lunch that is on the expensive side. 12pm-1am is a hot time to go. Parking may be tough, so you may need to park on the side or come at a different time.

Honestly, one would have been plenty for the two of us to share.
