We hired the smallest package as we are a small company. We had 2 black jack tables, roulette, craps and poker for about $1300. The staff on the night were all very friendly and professional. They were all set up on time & ready to go with the exception of one dealer who was running a little late. Their pack up was quick and quiet, I didn't even realise they'd gone! His advice about getting extra ice and extra cups was spot on! We need the 200 lbs. to keep everything cold and serve our 150 guests for 5 hours. We really appreciated the shopping list that the company sent us for how much alcohol, mixers, beer, wine, etc. you need to buy per 50 guests. That was extremely helpful. Everyone liked him. As it was a luau, we asked him to come dressed in an Hawaiian shirt and he did. He served until 10pm (did last call at 9:45pm) and cleaned up everything. He kept a close eye on the several relatives that I warned him could be trouble and made sure they weren't over-served. We very much appreciate that! (At the last family wedding, a relative was over-served, got drunk and threw up at the reception and again in the car ride home. Yucky cleaning his suit!) They even used the front yard space and driveway to make a beautiful sit down area with low benches and pillows with lace wrapping around the yard to make for an intimate and private event. We couldn't have been happier! SO many guests have told us our wedding was the best party they've been to in a long time. Their song mix was perfect, and the dance floor was packed the whole night. Turi's voice is amazing! One of our guests didn't dance, and when I asked him why, he said that he felt like he was at a really amazing concert and couldn't move he was so into the music. One super convenient thing was that they package in some additional ceremony sound things. So, when we got quotes from other bands, they would nickel and dime every line item (use of mic during ceremony - $100, use of speaker during ceremony - $200, etc). Getting ONE price that covered everything from Hipster Mama made our lives so much easier. Turi from Hipster Mama came to our vendor walk through and figured everything out, so we didn't have to worry about a single detail on the day of!
