After…read morelooking around at all the Big Box stores and realizing most of the hardwood available was from Asia and not Made in Canada... my wife and I made a stop at HF to speak with the owner Larry Haggarty and have him give us a tutorial on every species of hardwood, and they have it all. After selecting 3/4 inch solid white oak which was harvested and milled in Canada, we had his longest serving employee Frank come in to install all 3 rooms including step entrances, framing out cabinetry, closet and fireplace hearth. Not many craftsman and great small business owners left in this day and age, but Huron Flooring is the exception. Pricing $$$ was competitive to everywhere else we looked and the install was "Perfect" ...... if your thinking of hardwood flooring than make your first look at their store.

He put in a small bathroom floor! when putting on the baseboard he smashed the wall. so instead of fixing it correctly he took some flooring and stuck it to the wall! THEN he put the toilet back now it is seeping sewage out all around the toilet!! then the pedestal sink was stuffed in, the sink wasn't even touching the pedestal and the drain is hard to open and close! Beware of this guy!! Calls himself Brian, said his company is GREEN JOBS GALORE, But when it came to paying it was not paid to that company but paid by pay pal directly into his pocket! Live and learn they say, This fellow is shifty and does sloppy work!! Unhappy ,hate to feel robbed!
