Everyone is nice and they almost always have brownies for my daughter (she only drinks ice water) We love to bring grandma here... her favorite beverage is the unsweetened passion fruit tea... it is caffeine free and tastes great! I love the venti sugar free vanilla latte (Hot) so Yummy! We love to come here on girls day out and play the card game garbage. Lots of tables and outlets to plug in your devices. Coming to this Starbucks is always a treat. They take care of us so well and always get our orders right. I like the layout of the space and love the little touches, like their employee facts decorations, that give it some character. It's conveniently located across the street from the Itasca Metra Station and on the corner of the Wesley G. Usher Memorial Park. We stopped by most recently to take some engagement photos because the interior and exterior provide a wonderful backdrop for photos, particularly the outer brick walls and paved walkway. And, as mentioned before, it's on the same block as the park, which also offers some great scenery for a photo shoot. read more

This place is always out of everything. They never order correctly. The new day manager is terrible. Tons of new hires that have no clue on how to enter a order in correctly. They are always under staffed, always a line. I spend $800 a month at Starbucks. This place is a joke and I'll never return. Bring back Steve the manager and this place will run properly. They also had a hole in the parking lot for 6 months they refused to fill because it would cost "too much" I lost a rim in that hole. This place is a joke. This is a nice little standalone Starbuck across from the train station in downtown Itasca. They do a brisk business, and like most Starbucks, the staff is well trained and very friendly. I stick to black coffee, and prefer their dark roast. For any of you who are in the same category, they stop making dark roast at around noon. So if you go later than that, it's your choice if you want a "pour over", which is essentially drip coffee or wants blond or medium roasts. I find that the pour overs are weak, and while I prefer dark roast, I'll take the Pike's Place medium roast over the pour over. I suppose another option would be to add a shot of espresso. I really enjoy my daily visits year the local people gather in the waiting is usually not too long. The staff is extremely friendly! However I enjoy the variety of a little different dark roast coffee on a regular basis this place is got to the point where they have their special ones for way too long. For example anniversary blend that last for 4 to 6 weeks and this morning they ruled out their Christmas blend. I enjoyed Christmas as much or more than most however having the same cup of coffee for the next six weeks is not what I look forward to. I love this location! It's a standalone store without a drive thru, so it has a more small town neighborly feel than the city locations which just want to hurry you in and out. Derek, Andrew and Jeff are awesome and I do a little happy dance inside every time they're working. The only negative thing I have to say is that the decor was changed earlier this year and I have no idea what corporate was thinking. The store feels dark and cold and the bathrooms have no heat. According to the corporate website, "We believe a coffeehouse should be a welcoming, inviting and familiar place for people to connect, so we design our stores to reflect the unique character of the neighborhoods they serve." Look at the decor though...I guess they felt "white power and oppression" was an appropriate theme for Itasca. All we need is flys around the eyes of the coffee laborers in these pictures (which take up an entire corner wall). read more

This Starbucks has hit my boiling point. The last three hot venti white chocolate mocha's have only been filled about 3/4 of the way. I pop the lid off when I get home and see where it's filled. For a drink that costs $6, they should be filled almost to the top. Then tonight my husband comes back with a dragon fruit refresher that doesn't have any fruit in it and is almost clear when they are usually purple. I guess they were out. But he was still charged the $6. No attempts are made to lower the cost or throw in a pastry. I'm just getting sick of spending money here and not getting what I pay for. What gives? read more

The people who work here are very friendly. The place is always hoppin... there's always people comin' and goin'... The coffee and drinks are fine. Desserts: I've ordered the reduced fat cinnamon coffee cake, the reduced raspberry cake, and their white chocolate cookie. All have been great! I would recommend --- although they are fairly pricey. While it's so convenient to stop at this location I just do t do it often anymore. The truth is it takes forever to get my order when it's slow let alone if there are a few people in front of me. No sense of urgency. Way too much ice in my drink every single time. Light ice is not cold enough. When I ask for easy ice while it's being made there is a slight attitude. The crew is always so nice but the time it takes and the ice cause me to keep driving. I do hope someone sees this as an improvement suggestion. I'm sure there is a guideline to follow but it's just plain iced coffee and regulars should be taken care of. read more

Everything was nice, except for the entitled jerks who felt the need to block traffic by parking in the entrance to the parking lot (instead of an actual space) so they could run in and get their drinks three seconds faster. I cant tell You how aggravated I am at Moran so keep coming to this location and other Starbucks locations to sit and smoke cigarettes and cigars. The lack of other respect for Fellow patrons sitting right next to you as you washed your disgusting smoke in their faces. I told Starbucks about what was going on they can care less. There is actually no smoking symbols on all of the tables that is completely disregarded. As nice as it is to sit outside in the summertime I am getting fed up on top of that this location plus many others close their doors early in the middle of been busy.. it's just turning out to be not worth me coming here any longer. read more

This Starbucks has been my favorite and will stay that way! I've been a customer at this Itasca location because it resembles a friendly, small-town cafe more than a chain Starbucks to me. Even when I lived in the city, I'd still make my way over to this location for a Green Tea Frappe with extra whipped with a girlfriend, some quiet work time myself during the day or a quick treat after my Tree Guys dinner across the street. The space alone isn't very big (standard Starbucks size) but the location and friendly employees keep me coming back. Like most Starbucks locations, this place can get PACKED - Especially when Itasca is having their Itascafest, Memorial Day parade or it's just a warm summer day. Either it's office folk stopping in during their lunch break, kids from grammar schools, lifeguards from the Itasca pool or me (usually here to work by myself at a table), you'll get all kinds. This place is never empty. Personally, I've never had a problem with seating, an order or bad service. One employee that has been working here for years and continuously impresses me each visit is Andrew. He never leaves a customer without a greeting, a smile and will always chit chat whether you're a regular Itasca customer or new to this location. His positive attitude never seizes to amaze me especially when the Starbucks gets ridiculous. One of my favorite things about this location are the big windows. Several of the Starbucks closer to my place are closed in, dark and really try to set the mood with dim lighting and dark furniture. This Starbucks, however, is the opposite. The windows allow for a lot of natural lighting, the seating is spaced comfortably and everything is clean and taken care of. Just like your purchased caffeine, this location will make you feel awake! This is honestly the only Starbucks, in my opinion, that deserves a review! Definitely give this location a try. read more

I am a bit of a Starbuck-aholic, and let me tell you, not all Starbucks are created equal. Although the staff seems younger, at least when I go in, the service has always been impeccable. The staff is always friendly and cheerful, and most importantly they always make my drink perfect. I just wish I was able to go to this Starbucks more often! I am not a coffee/tea drink at all so I very rarely (if ever) go to Starbucks. When I saw they were giving away free drinks last Friday (and it didn't appear to be coffee/tea related), I thought why not? When I arrived, I was promptly taken care of. I was in and out in under 5 minutes which was surprising. I was expecting a much longer wait given the freebie. I didn't care for the drink (bummer!) but if I ever took up drinking coffee, I would definitely re-visit this location. Starbucks-if you are reading this...start selling soft drinks or lemonades and I would surely be in to visit...might even purchase some dessert items/sandwiches while I was there too! read more

This used to be a nice place to go for coffee. The last few times I've gone there I tell myself I won't go back. I love the location but the people that work here need better management. Washing the floor in the afternoon right in front of me while I'm trying to enjoy my coffee. Loud talking and goofing around by workers on several occasions causing me to leave with my coffee in hand. I'll take my business to the Target Starbucks in Wood Dale, they are nice & professional.
