Not the cheapest place for coffee, but if you like the good stuff or are looking for a more esoteric brew from the supermarket ranges, then this is the place to go.

At first I resisted the lure of expensive American coffee places like Starbucks and Costa as I…read morethought they were very pricey for what you get and did not want to form an expensive habit I could not afford however now I find myself becomming a customer of theirs and I cannot help myself. Based on the American coffee shop style Starbucks are everywhere on the high street these days, their coffee bars are relaxed places with sofa seating and low tables, the idea being the are a place to meet and relax while out shopping. They usually have some light jazz music playing in the back ground and you go up to the counter to get your drinks as there is no waitress service. They have a wide range of coffee and tea drinks and they also serve sandwiches and cakes as well. If you eat in you pay more for everything so it is cheaper to take away. There is a wide range of choices both in size of drink and type of coffee, I always go for an Americano without milk which is a strong black coffee. My favourite drink at the moment though is the mango frappe which is a cold drink mixing fruit juice and tea and it is very refreshing but not cheap. They have a great range of cakes and I love their cheesecake choices but again you do pay through the nose for their stuff which is the only downside.

The outside of the building is nice, but you can't tell how large of a spot it really is. I almost always order an iced mocha and sometimes depending where I am, I get looks of confusion. This time however, the girl behind the counter was all smiles and asked me exactly how I wanted my drink. I tried the drink, it needed a little tweaking, I wanted it sweeter and she gladly helped me out and was super friendly about it. The space offers tables to sit down. There is also sofa type seating in the rear. It was cozy, but not small, hip, but not trying too hard. There is also outdoor seating which is a nice plus. I instantly liked the vibe and my drink was good. If I lived in the area, this would surely be my new coffee spot.
