This is a dual review I will first review the AWESOME... FIVE STARS FOR KYLE!!! Me and my girlfriend first visited this Starbucks on our way in from California on our way to Zion and were pleasantly surprised by the drinks, and the cleanliness of this specific location. It was about 4pm in the afternoon and it wasn't too crowded and allowed us to relax and talk to the baristas, thats when we met Kyle. He asked about my camera and we got talking about the usual camera nerdgasm material. After making our drinks, PERFECTLY, he continued to point out cool places to visit in the area, as well as great places to take pictures. Oh yeah, and he did this while making at least 10 drinks in the process. MULTI-TASKING FTW!!! ONE STAR FOR BLONDE BARISTA... We had such a great time there we decided to come back the next morning before heading out to Zion. Unfortunately Kyle was not there and we were met with significantly less understanding individuals making our drinks. (AND NO BLACK APRONS) Not only were our drinks made incorrectly we got a loud exhale and attitude from the heavy-set blonde haired barista making our drinks. She gave a lame excuse why she couldn't make the drinks right and made them again. They were better but still substantially subpar... The attitude was not appreciated. Our third trip was somewhere in between the two experiences. The baristas were more friendly, however our drinks still had to be remade. Fortunately this time without the added sass. read more

It is the first day of 2017. Trashes are full, restroom dirty and they forgot my order. Not a good way to start the year 2017

I came in around 5pm. It was not busy inside or at the drive up. It took me a minute to get helped because the baristas were sharing photos on their phones with each other. When I was waiting to order I was the only one in the lobby. I got an iced americano with milk and a water. I watched three people come in after me and get their frappes before I got my espresso and water. They still somehow managed to mess the order up, probably because they were too busy talking to each other about how this couple would be cute but the boy wasn't looking for a relationship blah blah. Meanwhile I'm standing there watching them and waiting for my order, having to ask what drink it was that they just sat on the counter with no words and no order sticker. Then I had to ask for my milk and ask again after I got that for my water and when they got it they slid it at me across the counter- no words. I am disappointed with the unprofessional and bad service. read more

I am a daily Starbucks customer from out if town and this is the very first time I have been disappointed in the service I received. I ordered mobile and was charged for a sandwich that I attempted to order that said it was out of stock. I the. Ordered a second sandwich. When I arrived I noticed two sandwiches in the bag so I went bag into the store to return one. The line was out the door and I was told I had to wait at the end if the line? Not cool. Then the barista was sarcastic when she told me she had to open up a other register to my return, and asked sarcasticly " is that alright"? Again not cool. Maybe you think you can be this way cuz your the only pony in town? No, Guys.....just know in California Starbucks is known for their great service and friendly and helpful baristas. This Starbucks seems to get pretty pact. This was my first time here as I traveled to Cedar City. I liked the selection of items they had for display. The parking is a bit small so getting in and out can be a pain. They do have a drive thru available but might be a good idea to place a mobile order. read more

This store closes its drive thru at 10:30pm and I was in the drive thru at 10:15pm and no one came to the intercom, so I drove up to the window and one of the staff members looks me dead in the eyes and turns the lights off. The person in front of me was there at like 10:12! It's like at least have the decency to say, "sorry we're closed." I come here a lot. But there has been a quit a few times that they have either given me a the wrong coffee or I will ask for a cold brew and they will just give me iced coffee...and I can taste how burnt the bean is. My drink was delicious like always , the reason I'm giving this store a 1 star is because of how I saw a employee totally mistreat another employee. Linda I believe her name was, long grey hair in a braid, totally scolded another employee about having his drive thru headphones off for a moment since he was helping the cashier in front of me. I felt bad for him because he noticed that I had witnessed it, he looked embarrassed. It seems this location has a consistent issue with customer service according to all the negative reviews stating the same name. I sure hope corporate recognizes the problem and corrects it. I ordered inside this location during a road trip and I am not from the area. When I entered the line I noticed the vibe in there was as if the staff was bored. No hello's, or warm welcomes. Upon ordering the cashier was nice yet you could tell she was still new and had to ask others questions about the computer. I ordered a "tall cold foam cappuccino with extra foam and 1 pump of white mocha". When the barista (her name started with an M but I couldn't read the writing well enough to know) handed the drink out I asked about the drink as it was very light in color. She stated it had 2 % and I asked her to remake it as it is supposed to have nonfat milk according to the recipe. She proceeded to argue with me and made statements like "I made it how I was taught" and if you want the drink remade that's fine, just don't tell me how to do my job". I was angry at this point. I pulled up the app to show how the recipe states it is to be made to clarify the issue. She still wanted to argue and make excuses so I told her I was done talking to her and she needed to just make the drink. Upon remake I asked if it contained 1 or 2 shots as again or was white in color, she stated 1. I asked her to remake, according to the recipe. She dumped the drink and tossed the cup in the trash in frustration and attitude. I asked for the manager and she stated she was the shift lead and there was none else to talk to. I said wow, of course. Another coworker stepped in and asked if she could help, I did not get her name. I let her know I just would like my drink. This employee started to get rude making comments about me "needing to calm down". I am in disbelief at how disrespectful these employees were being. Without raising my voice I stated that they should not talk this way to customers. The second barista handed me a gift card with $4 and in a condescending tone stated that "it was good at any location and I was welcome to come back if I am willing to be patient". I let her know I have been very patient and her continuing to make digs and snide remarks is completely unnecessary. She said I called the other barista "Dumb" which I did not. All in all the result would have been different if the original barista would have just asked "how can I make it for you?" In the first place instead of all the theatrics. I hope corporate will invest in training this entire staff on its policies regarding customer satisfaction. I recommend driving right past this location to avoid a headache. read more

Very friendly, but not suck up friendly, service. Anne was very sweet and accommodating to the different needs of our group, reloading cards for specific amounts, making separate transactions, grinding coffee, etc. My coffee was bitter but I've come to accept that when I go to Starbucks, not the baristas fault (I used to work there). You know what to expect when you walk into a Starbucks. 11 years ago this was one of my criteria for moving here. In short they were the only game in town for a good cuppa. The manager was so nice she even saved me a Sunday New York Times. Looking at the long lines and crowded parking I know they are kicking themselves for not taking the whole facility. Given their size and the daily volume they must be one of the highest revenue generators among the free standing stores. Although you have mini-cafes in Lin's, Barnes & Noble, and Smith's grocery stores their is an aura about Starbucks stand alone. If you don't care about what you drink and wouldn't know a coffee bean from a cranberry you are missing out on so much. This guilty pleasure has so much to teach, to enjoy, to learn. I was in the drive through line for 30 mins before I get to order, and additional 10 mins to get my regular house brew coffee. Next time I would rather go to a gas station for a cup of coffee. 40 mins make Starbucks coffee tastes like shit! Also the coffee is not as hot as I supposed to be!! Worst Starbucks ever! Waited almost 10 minutes AT the drive through order speaker for them to even take my order. This was just me at the speaker. ..10 minutes. If I could give this place zero stars, I would! I was visiting STG over the weekend and went to this location on our last day. I ordered a Chestnut Praline Latte with almond milk and a Peppermint Mocha with almond milk. After receiving my order and getting back on the road toward our condo, I tasted the Chestnut Praline and immediately knew something was wrong. It was rancid! I turned around, went back to this location and went up to the barista that made my drinks. After him socializing and ignoring me for a good 2 minutes I said excuse me and explained that I thought something was rancid in the drinks. By this time I took the lid off the other drink and could smell it was the same sour smell. The barista attempted to argue with me by saying it's not possible because they make their whipped cream every morning and proceeded to spray some whipped cream on the counter and lick it!! He then said the almond milk expiration date is February. Apparently he didn't understand that almond milk can still go rancid if left out or heated then cooled then reheated... After going back and forth with this guy for a few minutes I asked him to remake the drinks. He was arrogant about it. Thinking he was Tom Cruise in whatever that bartender movie was throwing bottles around... I waited a good 5 minutes for him to make every drink order that came in before he got to my drinks. I get the Chestnut Praline, taste it, it was fine. I did not taste the other, assuming it would be fine as well. I get back to the condo and give my friend hers. She takes a huge sip and immediately rushed over to the sink to spit it out. She proceeds to pour out the drink saying it was sour. Toward to middle of the drink there was a huge clump (see picture in uploaded pics) that was stuck and could not go through the sip hole. It was absolutely disgusting. My friend is breastfeeding and now has to supplement with formula until she knows it's safe that nothing has passed through to her son. Awful!! read more

Instead of remaking the drink (you can only wonder what bacteria came out of the crack in the bottom), she simply dumped it into another plastic cup and added ice. Rude, incorrect orders, poor product quality, and bad management. I came in after placing a mobile order to find my drink was made wrong (gave me a hot drink when mine was supposed to be iced). Instead of getting the usual "oh no let me fix that for you" the batista decided to try to prove that I was wrong by saying "thats not what the ticket says". So I have I am forced to go to my app to show that I clearly ordered an iced drink. When she sees im right she proceeds to just pour the hot drink over ice (instead of shaking it in ice to cool it down then adding ice so that the ice doesn't just immediately melt and water down the drink) and call it a day. Also one of the cake pops she gave me was completely broken. So I ask for the manger. Enter Kaylee which seemed nice at first but new management and not resolution focused. So instead of just apologizing for the previous batista she just makes excuses stating "that's just how her voice sounds" instead of addressing the issue. She then says that all the cake pops arrived broken (I got one that wasn't and one that was) and instead of not serving them or apologizing and immediately offering me other options she refused to take ownership of the situation and just fix it. I stopped her mid sentence and told her that she was just offering excuses for bad behavior and she should be focusing on addressing why the situation happened in the first place. I asked for the GM's phone number which then lead Kaylee to get an attitude. She proceeds to write the actual store ID number and her name on a paper. I ask her again for the phone number and she tells me " this conversation is over". I tell her I'm not from this state and asked again for the phone number because I am not familiar with the physical address of the store and am not familiar with the area. She gives me a receipt with the store info (which if she was resolution focused she could have done in the first place) with a huge attitude which was totally unnecessary. It obvious the management is inexperienced and setting a bad tone for the other employees. First rule of business "your teams is only as good and as strong as its leadership" and the complacent and apathetic attitude of the employees seems to come directly from the manager. This is not an establishment that values its customers nor does it recognize the importance of the customer. Your goal is NOT to prove a customer is wrong it is to make things RIGHT for the customer. The ice was completely melted after a few minutes and I ended up throwing the watered down drinknin the garbage despite paying for it. Also the other iced tea I ordered wasn't poorly made and it to ended up in the trash. Waste of time and money. read more
