One of my favorite Starbucks of all the ones that I have visited and for context I am a Reserve status so I've visited A LOT. The staff are kind, professional and most importantly to me they are prompt especially when I'm in a hurry. They don't rest on the laurels of being located next to the Pacific Ocean which provides the most impressive of ambiance. I have also had the iced lemon loaf which was also fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone in a hurry who wants a drink order made right and right away :)

Skinny Americano with a dollop of cream Not cool for the person who drank it with allergies

I obviously didn't tip them enough today. In my Americano with skinny milk, they put a big scoop of cream. It wasn't for me but the person I gave it to is allergic so it created a problem. Avoid

This store is situated just in front of the Pier of San Diego and next to the InterContinental San Diego. The staff I met is friendly and works very efficiently. You can enjoy the pictorial scene including the Star of India (ship) at a glance while drinking there. Often, you can see the mega cruiseship docked there from morning to night like Princess, Holland America and Carnival, etc.

Great location and the staff is very nice. Clean store, speedy service. Everything you want in an overpriced coffee store! Neat the Midway museum and cruise ship terminal. They have the standard snack and sandwich fair that is expected.

Convenient Starbies if you're staying The InterContinental Hotel or visiting Broadway Pier. Clean and plentiful outdoor seating. Unfortunately that's where the positive ends. Staff are rude, and management does nothing to try and prevent patrons from literally walking in, skipping the line, and just going up to the register. Taking advantage of social distance to insert themselves instead of waiting in beyond rude and the staff absolutely sees it happening and hears the customers complaining.

This Starbucks was conveniently located across the street from my hotel. Friendly staff, quick service but freezing cold inside. Sat outside to enjoy my coffee in the beautiful cool morning of San Diego

This new Starbucks lies right at the bay front adjacent InterContinental San Diego Hotel and Lane Field Park. It's small but a very nice location. I tried a new latte, the smoked butterscotch latte hot, and for some eats, the turkey bacon egg white sandwich. Both were very good. The latte offered a subtle smoke flavor and a well balance espresso and butterscotch flavor. I asked for just a touch of whipped cream, so not to overly sweet the latte. It was just right with the sweet level for me. The reduce fat turkey bacon was good breakfast sandwich was good. I liked that they also pair with a wheat English muffin as well. With only 230 calories and as tasty as it was, it's a good choice for those who are taking it easy on calories. Service was very good. The young ladies were all very nice and helpful. Nice Starbucks.

I avoid Starbucks because their coffee is weak and lack of flavor. Also sometimes employees have an attitude. I ordered soy latte to avoid dairy. When I only saw the employee using milk, I double checked and asked if my order was in fact soy because I saw milk was pour earlier. A girl seems like the lead jumped in and replied with attitude, "Yes, he was making another order.". Okay. I think it could be easily answer without an attitude. Also, I never heard any employee said "Thank you!" To any of the customer while I was in the store. Next time, I rather go to 7-11 for coffee over Starbucks. No attitude just a quick grab and go.

We stopped by at around 8:20am today and there were only a few people in line. Service was welcoming and kind! They had an assortment of baked goods + empanadas as well as a great matcha/coffee menu. There's lots of seating for anyone who wants to hangout with friends or study. So awesome to see that they serve Nami (aashleyk's matcha brand). I ordered a chicken empanada, pan de elote, & an iced matcha cloud (less sweet & oat milk). Everything was absolutely DELISH. I'm pretty picky about my matcha, especially when it's in an Einspanner form. I loved the contrast between the sweet/salty cloud and the matcha itself! This place has their ratios down perfectly. Can't wait to come back (probably tomorrow)! 11/10.

The staff were awesome and super friendly. I got the Mia-mor Latte and a plain bagel with cream cheese, and both hit the spot. One major bonus: they only charge $0.50 extra for oat milk! Most other coffee shops charge $1.00 or more now, so that was a really nice surprise. They also gave me a stamp card for future visits, which I'll definitely be using. Will absolutely be back!

Spill the Beans has completely ruined every other coffee shop for me…read more I'm here every single morning, and there's a reason. The bagels are larger, fluffier, and have this perfect subtle sweetness -- rumor has it they're boiled in agave syrup, and honestly, it shows. Parking is a bit of a pain bit of you are in waking distance or come early enough it shouldn't be an issue. Sometimes they run out of items if you come later in the day. They have a special Bagel of the month, so make sure to ask what it is. They have several bagel flavors, and different flavor cream cheese spreads. I love the habanero bagel, it's one of my favorites, but just be warned it is very hot. Definitely don't eat it without something cold to drink. They also have a breakfast sandwich called the San Diego which is a favorite of several people I know. You chose the bagel you want it with and they add fried eggs, bacon, cheese and aioli. I highly reccomend it. I've not had a lot of their deinis, but i did order the cinna-bee which has honey, cinnamon, espresso and milk. I thought it was good and would order it again. Definitely check them out and try some of their bagels, or perhaps one of their sandwiches.

We both ordered their omurice and the egg was very soft and fluffy which I loved. All their drinks sounded amazing and would definitely come back to try other things on their menu. I would suggest going earlier in the day as we came in right before noon on a Saturday and were seated immediately but a wait quickly formed right after. It was delicious but super creamy and she got tired of it real quick. For dessert we got the Ichigo Daifuku, which was mochi w/fruit and red bean paste inside. Good but nothing I haven't had before. I also had a hojica latte, my sister got the matcha, and my mom had the cafe au lait. All iced and delicious. The ladies making the drinks at the counter were kind and attentive. Great for the vibes and ambiance. But I probably won't come back just for the food alone.
