Many of the other reviews are on point. As I stand here I am in shock that this is a Starbucks. Employees are rude and act as if my being here is an inconvenience. No hello, not a kind word, not even a "you're welcome" after thanking them for my drink. The place is filthy and it is clear that no one here cares about their job or providing the friendly customer service Starbucks is known for. I have never been so displeased with a Starbucks visit. Will not be returning, even if it is on the way home. I will be stopping at the one on Sherwood from now on. read more

Same great quality you'd expect from any other Starbucks. The only thing I don't understand is the location they choose for both San Angelo Starbucks. Traffic in both locations is always horrible and the parking lots are always packed or blocked by the long drive thru line. This is by far the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. This location NEVER updates the starbucks app, so I'll place a mobile order and pay for it, but when I get to the location I'm told they're out of the item, so I'm stuck getting something I don't want. And when they do have items in stock, they'll get my drink order wrong. Its incredible how bad this place is. read more

As long as you don't order something unique... meaning, adding shot of espresso (which in coffee-land, is hardly making the order difficult) your coffee will turn out alright. Drive-thru is slow, but I've yet to go to a Starbucks that didn't have a slow drive thru. To their credit, putting cardboard around the scanner for paying by phone is something they should pass along to all starbucks stores. read more

The staff at this location is super friendly and thoughtful. We stopped by for drinks while traveling, and ate our picnic lunch on their patio. The baristas went out of their way to bring us samples on two occasions while we were there. Their kindness made our day! read more

I'm a pretty patient person especially when a place is busy and this location is always busy however on Monday July 15 I placed a mobile order and when I arrived not one employee greeted me in fact while I was standing there waiting patiently so that I could let them know my name for my mobile order a short little blonde employee muttered under her breath to a fellow co worker "people need to make their coffee at home or go somewhere else" at this point I then watched my drink get placed to the side behind a corner not made yet and not even attention to. I believe it was the manager who finally asked me what my name was for my order after 15 minutes of standing there. I always go to Starbucks when I travel. I usually have a great experience. This store was very dirty. The bathroom was horrible. There were 3-4 employees working, but only one making drinks. It took a very long time to make my drinks since there were a few people in front of me. On the bright side Ashley was awesome! She made our drinks and was very friendly making sure our drinks were made correctly. read more

The stores in San Angelo are sooooo bad. This topic came up while I was at a hair salon and the consensus of all present (6 people including stylists) was to avoid Starbucks at all costs. It's too inconvenient and the employees don't care. I have come to the conclusion that they simply don't want to provide a decent level of service. There are too many resources out there available to persevere during these times, Starbucks here seems to snub their noses at. Whatever obstacles they are facing as a business, they simply do not want to address. They do not open up convenient options that the Starbucks corporation has available to customers including mobile ordering. They claim it is because it takes too many people to run it and if they are understaffed, but in my experience in discussions with Starbucks employees and other places, the mobile ordering is not difficult to man. Additionally, their hours are unpredictable, and it's a complete gamble as to whether or not they will be open inside. While again, I understand we are in a global pandemic, it is not the reason behind their closure. I truly believe they do not want to overcome the obstacles that they face. I wish they would just shut down permanently so we would all know for sure that they're unavailable, which is what they are at the moment regardless of whether they are open or not. The drive thru is wrapped around the building, meaning that there are some customers who are willing to wait a very long time for a very mediocre coffee. It also creates a sense that there is a higher demand, went to reality the drive-through is so small it looks crowded immediately, with just a few customers. It also means that anybody who wants to go inside, as a quicker option or just to stretch their legs cannot. So instead of serving 10 to 15 customers every few minutes, they are serving five within 15-20. It is really a shame, it's a shame for people in San Angelo who like to enjoy Starbucks, and it is a shame for the representation of the company. I know their headquarters would not be happy with the awful experience that most people have in San Angelo, but at this point I don't know what to do. read more

We choose Starbucks multiple times a day, because of the service, clean stores, and consistently good drinks. However, we have stopped at this store twice in the last month while driving through. The bathrooms are nasty, the service is terrible and the drinks have been lacking. This store continues to miss the mark set by the corporation and should be addressed. read more

I've never been to a Starbucks that I was disappointed in but now I have! WORST LOCATION EVER!!! There were about 5 baristas on the clock. Drive thru line was long so I just went inside. I stood waiting to have my order taken and no one even knowledge me or politely tell me they will be right with me and I was patient I saw how busy they were. I wish I could have seen the mans name rage but he was the only man working there and said ugh why don't you get the fuck out! Very professional. I had about 4 other people behind me and the young lady didn't even ignored me went to the next cash register and started taking someone else order while I was standing right there. I hope the manager is aware he/she has some very rude employees working there. read more

Never make my drink right and the wait is always over 20 minutes or more!!!!! Never apologize for the wait and when mentioned how long the wait always is and how the Starbucks goal is to get drinks out in 2 minutes they said that Starbucks doesn't have any set standard. Sign says 2.95 for 20/24 oz iced coffee- so I tell them put 20 oz in a 24 cup so I have room for cream and they charge me another .75 cents. Really??? They need to change their sign if that's what the are going to do. The sign does NOT say 2.95/3.75 And the iced coffee says vanilla or caramel. The cashier asks blah blah caramel or blah blah caramel? Probably trying to up charge me again for something else. The sign clearly says vanilla or caramel. Not some other caramel that they are trying to charge me for. So remember I asked for room for cream? Well they didn't leave room for cream so I asked the barista to pour some out. And she looked at me totally put off. Not only was the cashier rude during this whole exchange - but so was the barista. This has got to be the rudest set of people that work at Starbucks. Never again. The people on Sherwood way are much friendlier and don't overcharge you for simple drip iced coffee. read more
