It comes off as painful for the employees to be grinning and bearing it as they reluctantly help a waiting customer....they'll do it but not without an attitude...Very unwelcoming! I've been there in the beginning & end of their hours of being open....and even if I'm the only customer in there, I'm still ignored.... And speaking of being here first thing in the morning, the bathroom was out of t.p., the mirror was all splattered, and the sink was so oooo dirty! I was absolutely appalled!!! Obviously not cleaned at closing/ or opening!?! And ....???...what's up with all the waste? I was obviously an in house/ sit down customer, and my pastry served( smooshed ) in an unnecessary paper bag, not on a plate, and my gourmet drink, in a paper cup w plastic lid, ( ruining all the foam and cinnamon on top) and it would have been so much better/ appropriate/ earth conscious/ proper,,,, to maybe ask if I wanted my expensive drink in a real ceramic cup? It really makes a difference on the lips.... I'm left wanting so much more... quality, consciousness, care, community vibes, coffee, come on!?!? Meh.... So I just asked why I wasn't given the choice of a ceramic cup only to be brushed off, tried to ask a different employee, only to be walked away from....I'm beginning to think all these kids are just Starbucks robots with limited programming!?!- As they sure are chatty amongst themselves as the ignore the customer and loudly talk about their very personal lives for the whole establishment to hear weather we want to or not....and the quietest oblivious worker cackles at everything her coworkers say, it Sooo obnoxious, deafening, shrill, nerve wracking, and surprising coming from the silent robot.....what happened to good customer service? ......and when I commented/ complained about my beverage ' presentation 'and my topper being ruined, hoping for them to offer to make it right... ???? Absolutely the worst customer service ever. Brian s aud i could google it if I needed to find who to report it to. Sincerely all it would of taken was a sorry it took so long...thats it. This is a very poorly managed location. Unfortunately I've had to stop here while my usual location at 36th is under construction. Today I put in a mobile order for a drip coffee and a croissant 5 mins before arriving. They were swamped when I got there so I sat and ate my croissant while waiting for the coffee. Finished the croissant and waited additional time while watching 10 out of about 12 employees do nothing. One girl making drinks was swamped and no one would help her. I finally said something to an employee who just literally blew me off AND I watched mgmt check in with that employee after upon which they blew me off again to the mgr while I watched my cup just sit there at the coffee machine. Definitely a management and training issue. Why aren't employees trained to work as a team and to problem solve to help each other and customers instead of just deflecting blame? I felt badly for the ONE girl working very hard. Shame on the mgr that was working today at 10:30am. This is not the job for you. read more

Often on my way back from a Target run and grocery shopping, I stop at this Starbucks location because they have a drive-through. They are always fast, efficient, and very friendly. I really appreciate their high level of customer service. The drive-through is super convenient and even though there is often a long line it moves super fast. They have never messed up my order and I am a "non" girl. Grande non-fat, no whip, decaf, 2 pump mocha. Sometimes it's a little tricky making a left onto South East Powell when there is traffic, but it's not a deterrent for me. They have a parking lot that wraps around store so plenty of spaces. Most people use the drive through. They have been open during pandemic and take all necessary precautions. 5 stars well earned! read more

My kid and I scooted in here last minute on the way to a weekly appointment in Belmont. This Starbucks is newly opened (7/25) in an old Wendy's building on Powell near Target. There is another Starbucks drive thru just down the road a bit near Cesar Chavez that is in an old Coffee People spot but this one has indoor seating not just drive up and is likely a lot easier to get in and out of. Our barista was especially friendly, the drinks were fast, and both of our flavored iced teas were pretty perfect. We use Starbucks for beverages as a last resort but honestly pretty often, and this one was good. read more

This Starbucks is great for a drive-thru, but not as great to sit in. The staff are friendly and fast, which is appreciated! The tables, the last six times I've been here, have nearly all been in need of a wipe-down (crumbs, scraps, etc). Totally get it when it's a rush time, but this has also been true when I've been here early and it's relatively empty. Thankfully, the staff is nice about wiping it down when asked. read more

New location. Basically the layout is just a box. Inside decor is your basic Starbucks. A few tables inside and different seating arrangements. Staff isn't overly friendly since this is a drive thru location so they all have headsets and are busy filling drive thru orders. read more

The old Wendy's location at SE Powell and 28th closed a few years ago and sat vacant for quite awhile. Finally, after extensive remodeling, it is now a Starbucks. It's very spacious inside and has quite a few comfy, soft easy chairs. I like that. Friendly baristas behind the counter greeted me as I walked in the door. As I sat and enjoyed my drink, lots of students came and went...likely because Cleveland High School is only two blocks away. I went to Cleveland HS too (over 50 years ago!) so that makes the location sort of nostalgic. I'll mention that it's easier to to get there if you are headed east on Powell Blvd so you can just make a right turn into their parking lot. (If you're headed west on Powell, it can take a LONG time to make a left turn into there...at times, oncoming traffic can be nonstop and never-ending read more

Love love love the convenience of this new Starbucks. Absolutely dislike the slow and messy service. Priority on making coffee goes to drive thru while numerous customers inside wait 10 mins or more. I even mobile ordered on my walk to the store. My last two visits, there were five workers and they were not efficiently allocated to the work to be done. This is my new neighborhood coffee shop. I have been going to Starbucks pretty regularly for the past couple weeks because of work. It is nice because you can order online and walk in to pick up. There is a small parking lot, a patio and a small inside. No drive thru though if you want that. The employees are nice and work really hard even with all the anxious people in the morning. I see customers cut other people off, interrupt people and employees and reach underneath the protective glass and they're so patient and kind. I went this afternoon and it had mellowed out from the morning. The employees after working for at-least 5 hrs were still just as nice. It was a young man and two young women. They deserve a raise and a pat on the back. read more

I moved here almost a year ago and began my search for a good Starbucks. I've been to several inside Malls, stores and free standing ones. Some I'll never set foot in, some are ok in a pinch. This one is the best!! Great Customer Service, clean and efficient. The drinks I order always come out perfect. The staff is patient, helpful and friendly. Don't order Uber eats from this location. Your food will show up uncooked. Also their drive through creates in incredibly unsafe backup of cars onto Powell. There's a better Starbucks a few blocks up Powell! read more

I love this Starbucks not only because they have a parking lot that always has free spaces, but because the inside it big and they have many four seater tables and two bar style tables to study at (along with the usual couches and comfy chairs). This is great for anyone like me who needs to really spread out their workspace to study. Only downside I would say is the music and how loud it is, but I just bring my headphones :) read more

I have gone to several stand alone Starbucks, Starbucks in other stores like Target, Safeway, the Mall and have ordered in person, through the app, Door Dash and drive through. This store is my go to store. I will make extra time to drive to this store rather than go to one that is closer to my work or running errands because it is consistently the best service, the friendliest staff, and the most efficient. I, like I'm sure everyone else does, enjoys my drink made with those extra little add ons that make it so delicious like extra whip or drizzle on the cup or an extra shot or two of espresso. Whatever mood I am in they always make my drink order correct. I sometimes get drinks for my co-workers before I head to work and thankfully everyones order is perfect. It would not be fun, everyone gets a drink and one drink order is wrong. Sad day for everyone because no one can enjoy their drink with one of us not enjoying theirs. One of my coworkers said this was better than the one she gets closer to work. Proof that its not just me that likes this place. Since COVID, I try to keep track of my spending and I always forget to get a receipt but thats more on me than them. Thank you Starbucks staff for making my day and making me the hero at work.
