My beverage was done right! Vanilla late won't an extra shot. The store, while small, was welcoming. I was happy to see three (3) Starbucks on our walk through Playa Del Carmen and even happier the store was open so late especially on a Sunday night. One note, the bathrooms were extremely dirty and needed servicing. The service was great. Friendly and asked a few questions to ensure the order was done right - the first time!! read more

Workers here are SO SUPER nice and friendly. My coffee wife and I snuck away from the husbands and kids every morning to stroll 5th Avenue and enjoy the quiet every morning. It's so beautiful and peaceful in the am. Here in playa lactose free milk is the norm, so they will always double check if you want lactose free milk. They do carry all the other regular milks that Starbucks has too, so hubby still got his breve lattes delivered to him on our way back and I got my coconut milk lattes. All are happy. The WiFi here is free you just need to log in like normal. It's faster than our WiFi in the condo so it was nice to come here and upload our photos from our phones to the cloud. There is also A/C in the building and some cute sofa chairs to sit in if you have to get work done out of the humidity and heat. We are here in July which is one of the hottest most humid months so it is a nice refresher to get a blast of fresh air coming in. read more

This location is in a nice mall. Free WiFi. I ordered two iced americanos and honestly, they we both warm with nearly all of the ice melted. But I asked the barista to re-make the drinks and they both came out perfect the second time around. And she was really nice about it. read more

Like most Starbucks they are the same back home. I was able to use my starbucks rewards on my phone and get points for them. The only downfall is they charged extra for the caramel when we requested it for the top and bottom. Say what you will about Starbucks, but when you need an iced caramel macchiato it's guaranteed to deliver it. Ah Cacao and Chez Celine both have much better coffee and are just a few blocks away, but there's a special place in my caffeine-addled heart for that non-syrup caramel in my cold beverage. read more

Great little Starbucks on one of the most popular streets in playa del Carmen/cancun all the same drinks you can get at and other Starbucks but with a couple Mexican exclusives such as there 100% Mexican hot chocolate. This is the best place to get Starbucks! The service is amazing! They were patient with me as I wanted a drink only available in the states. She made it up as she went along to replicate it and it tasted exactly the same! This is now our go-to place! A lot of business-looking people were using the Wi-Fi so I can only assume it's good. It's usually busy, but there's always a seat left open. The ladies know us as regulars and know our order by heart. Plus the walk isn't half-bad with all the scenery of 5th Avenue. In the States, I usually prefer my local coffee shop over Starbucks but when you're traveling it's hard to beat the free wi-fi, clean bathrooms, friendly faces and familiar menu. This location is small but has everything you need. Starbucks was always a great place to do the homework or to just read a book. They always play calm music that makes the atmosphere comfortable. I love this place I would like to say that This place is amazing. I like this particular location Starbucks. It has lots and lots of room inside dining area. There are very comfortable Chairs, and very comfortable tables. It's a very cozy place either to answer your business emails or to do your college homework. They do have wifi for free and I would say it's pretty fast. There is also plenty parking space and it's very clean and I would say it's safe. Their bathrooms are very clean. If you are dining in their coffee is with free refills. The passion tea is very good. Their deserts are pretty pricey but they are delicious. My favorite thing to get is hot white mocha with barely worded up chocolate cookie. The reason I get that chocolate cookie barely warmed up is because if they will heat up that cookie to their usual temperature, my hands will be covered I. Chocolate.I can't wait till the winter time. They will have my favorite winter drink is caramel brûlée latte with cranberry bliss bars. I got a cold brew here after days of weak espresso (maybe I just picked the wrong shops). The bathrooms are clean, the AC is plentiful and you get what you know for a drink. On 5th Ave, there aren't too many places that have public bathrooms so Starbucks was a welcome sight a few times for a green tea and a bathroom. Several business-type humans were using laptops here so I think their wifi must have been solid, and the AC rivaled other shops I spent time in. Lots of open air shops in PDC, this is fully sealed with about 6 tables and maybe the same outside. Prices comparable to US but then add in your service fees. They had a few Mexico hot cups but I wish there were any Starbucks branded cold cups for world destinations. A reliable stop! read more

Not sure what they do different here than back in the states. But the americanos are much better! Literally .. Perfect everytime!!! Only negative is they don't have oats (which I was relying on for daily breakfast) or a selection of sugar free pumps :( Only SF vanilla. HOWEVER they have stevia!!!! Anyway, I have found the local Starbucks to be lower quality than Ah Cacao, but they are convenient if you need a coffee on the go. Also packed with hordes of cattle-like tourists, so if you're local, go to La Bendecida (the best coffee shop in the Yucatan). read more

For some odd reason, I found it impossible to find unsweetened iced tea in Mexico. Thank goodness for Starbucks. The menu is familiar, the staff is friendly, and most of all there is air conditioning. I was pleasantly surprised by the attitudes of the staff, the short wait time, and they even spelled my name correctly on my cup, which is totally unheard of in the Starbucks universe. read more
