The space was well kept and very clean. Service was phenomenal! The barista who took my order was friendly, energetic and an overall joy, as was the barista who made my drink. I recently stopped at this Starbucks store on a road trip to Texas. I left my purse behind and didn't realize it until we were 160 miles away. One of the managers tried to contact me through Messenger (FB) but I failed to check messages in time. I am so very thankful for the care and integrity of these ladies, Brandi and Rachel! I don't know why this particular Starbucks location only has 3 stars. My daughter and I have been coming here almost daily for the last week and the employees have been very polite and friendly. I realize that they are obviously busy because the drive through line is like 20 cars deep, however they are always very nice and work very hard to serve their customers so I would like to say to cut them some slack and tip them if you can. I went to this place twice. The first time, my dad was with me and wanted an iced coffee with Splenda in it. They asked if we still wanted the default syrup in it, which I have never heard someone ask before. My dad wasn't sure if they removed it when he usually got it, so he said no. He gets his coffee and they forgot the Splenda. He just got a coffee with no sugar. For context, we were in the drive-thru, and we had a lot of driving ahead of us, so we really didn't want to go inside to get Splenda. The second time, my friend wanted a muffin and I wanted oatmeal. I used the app to order. After we told them the name for the order, they wanted us to repeat the name, along with each item in the order. Once we did that, we had to wait in line for about 30 minutes. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say someone ordered half the menu. Once we got there, they informed us that we needed to pay, even though I paid on the app. I showed them my order on the app and they understood. I got my food, and the muffin was warmed, even though I marked it as not to warm, but that isn't that big of a deal. However, they also didn't include any add-ons that are included with my oatmeal. I had plain oatmeal with no sugar or anything. If I'm going to Starbucks, I expect heaps of sugar. read more

This place was gross! The bathrooms were dirty and had what looked like a piece of a soap dispenser for soap. Not hard to drive to Kroger and buy a soap dispenser if you're out. They have arrived! I had the amazing chocolate croissant. It is the perfect combination of crispy outer crust and buttery, tender insides wrapped around a piece of bittersweet chocolate heaven. The chocolate complements my caramel flan latte perfectly. These little beauties were easy to resist when they were on the other side of the country. I often get annoyed stares from customers waiting in line ... 'Who the heck is this guy walking straight to pick up and getting his drink ... We have been waiting here for hours...' I have to wait for my order for a while. Well any who, I always order the same thing, depending on my mood I switch the size from tall to grande or vice verse. I always order the dark roast, regular amount of soy, shot of espresso, and a pump of toffee. I usually come to this location when I'm passing through to visit my company's suppliers and warehouse. There are many ways they can improve the efficiency for this location and quality they produce. The baristas seem to be unorganized ... And do not know how to make drinks properly. Every time I've been to this location my coffee doesn't taste like it should. In my mind, this is really the only Starbucks in the Auburn Opelika area. There is one on campus but itis pretty much impossible to find parking when school is in season. There is also one in Target but who wants to deal with shoppers when all one wants is a cup of coffee. It is a great Starbucks, topped by the fact that it is open 24 hours. They make a mean hot chocolate and employees are always cheerful. Even when I have 10 orders to take back to the folks at work. Right off the exit from the interstate, it's perfectly positioned for the weary traveler hoping to refuel on some caffeine for their extensive journeys or visits. While seating is not abundant, I typically don't struggle in trying to find a place to read or enjoy some free wifi. Starbucks has also always done a pretty magnificent job of staying on top of their menu with delictable choices. With that being said, it is nothing too extraordinarily different than any other starbucks. I always push for local, if you're in the area try the Overall Company, or Mama Mochas. No, I came in and ordered a Peppermint Mocha and a Chestnut Praline. The peppermint was great but the Chestnut Praline tasted like straight warm milk! No flavor! All milk, when I opened the lid the coloring was super light, almost if I took milk and added brown sugar. I have gotten this drink before but from South College and it was amazing, so I know what it's actually supposed to taste like. I live closer to S.
