Popped off the interstate on our way to Montgomery and before we got back on the road, I needed a bit of caffeine. We ate at the neighboring Waffle House, so I walked over post-meal and ordered inside. The location is nice with a good sized dining room with ample seating plus a semi-covered patio. The space was well kept and very clean. Service was phenomenal! The barista who took my order was friendly, energetic and an overall joy, as was the barista who made my drink. The coffee itself was tasty and just as expected. Overall, stellar Starbucks location! read more

Poor Service,, extremely rude employees. Cold Food because you have to wait 20 minutes for a coffee. " that's just the way it is" as per the employees. I'll make the drive up to Columbus from now on. read more

This is the Starbucks about an hour out from my MIL's home so it's the natural stopping point fur a bathroom and caffeine hit. Bathroom is typically clean. No code required. On this most recent visit, Leighton (I'm pretty sure I'm spelling that wrong) who took my order could not have been more pleasant. Big thanks to home during a holiday rush time. read more

I placed my order in advance with the and it was waiting for me! Bathrooms are clean. My daughter also put an order in which I waited for and which she enjoyed. Starbucks in this far out country town is quaint and progressive. With ample parking and blo Jed off spaces for the continuous line at the drive up window, whatever rating that gave them 2 stats in the past needs to be updated. Which is why I'm giving the.m 4 stars because ifbtehe service and the energy that the barista shared as she placed my drink on the counter, she smiled. For the distance I traveled to get to this point they all deserve to be acknowledged. Thanks for making my evening a pleasant one. I recently stopped at this Starbucks store on a road trip to Texas. I left my purse behind and didn't realize it until we were 160 miles away. One of the managers tried to contact me through Messenger (FB) but I failed to check messages in time. I am so very thankful for the care and integrity of these ladies, Brandi and Rachel! Brandi took my purse to the nearby UPS store and shipped it to me without expecting payment of the charges. I hope I get back to that store one day so I can give them each a big hug! read more

I don't know why this particular Starbucks location only has 3 stars. My daughter and I have been coming here almost daily for the last week and the employees have been very polite and friendly. I realize that they are obviously busy because the drive through line is like 20 cars deep, however they are always very nice and work very hard to serve their customers so I would like to say to cut them some slack and tip them if you can. Starbucks doesn't pay them much and most are college kids just trying to survive. BIG TIP! If the drive through is 15 cars deep, park and go inside! Save your gas and the environment. read more

Came here at 3 PM thinking I can do a quick coffee but the line was wrapped all the way around the Starbucks! Tried to park but they had cones in the way that I had to knock over in front of the parking space! Waited a very long time at 3 PM to get my coffee read more

I went to this place twice. The first time, my dad was with me and wanted an iced coffee with Splenda in it. They asked if we still wanted the default syrup in it, which I have never heard someone ask before. My dad wasn't sure if they removed it when he usually got it, so he said no. He gets his coffee and they forgot the Splenda. He just got a coffee with no sugar. For context, we were in the drive-thru, and we had a lot of driving ahead of us, so we really didn't want to go inside to get Splenda. The second time, my friend wanted a muffin and I wanted oatmeal. I used the app to order. After we told them the name for the order, they wanted us to repeat the name, along with each item in the order. Once we did that, we had to wait in line for about 30 minutes. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say someone ordered half the menu. Once we got there, they informed us that we needed to pay, even though I paid on the app. I showed them my order on the app and they understood. I got my food, and the muffin was warmed, even though I marked it as not to warm, but that isn't that big of a deal. However, they also didn't include any add-ons that are included with my oatmeal. I had plain oatmeal with no sugar or anything. If I'm going to Starbucks, I expect heaps of sugar. read more

This place is by far the slowest Starbucks in the history of Starbucks. Every time I drive to Montgomery I kick myself for getting off at this exit and getting trapped in the drive through line. Going inside isn't any better...no call ahead option...just close the store. I am currently looking at a manager doing paper work at a table two people cleaning, one person actually working and 5 people in line. Get them some help! Side note manager just got up and started working! I think she saw me writing this review. read more

Prett nice Starbucks for getting coffee. They have indoor and outdoor seating. If you're looking for a place to study, this place is OK. The most dysfunctional and unorganized Starbucks I've ever been too. Employees arguing and not making drinks...stay away.

This is GENUINELY one of the WORST Starbucks to ever exist. Tell me how the coffee that I just ordered in the drive thru and that I was just handed through the window COLD ITS A HOT COFFEE!!!! I had a sandwich that I ordered on the app and paid for on the app with my order and instead of them letting me know that they were out and doing something to fix they just didn't tell me and I didn't realize till I was already down the road so I turned around to go get it I get in the store cause I refused to wait in that god awful line again. I get into the store and let the girl know what happened only for her to tell me they were out so I asked why they didn't tell me in the drive through or give me a refund then and she just looked at me dumbfounded. So I asked if I could at least get a refund and that's when she said yes. So let me get this straight we're y'all just hoping I wouldn't notice? The customer service is awful the hot drinks are cold the cold drinks are melted by the time you get them they're slower that a cold sloth. Point blank if you have the time to go to a different Starbucks go to a different Starbucks. How is a Starbucks in a target better than yours?? read more

As Starbucks at I-85 & 280 Interstate Drive, Opelika, AL Order ahead now is unavailable, we waited in line for 20 minutes & finally got to the order box. This place was gross! The bathrooms were dirty and had what looked like a piece of a soap dispenser for soap. Not hard to drive to Kroger and buy a soap dispenser if you're out. Then I walked out into the rest of the place and there were straws and trash everywhere. I have several family members that have worked at Starbucks and there is NO way they would have tolerated this! Yes it was crowded but it looked like no one had picked up anything in days. My husband was hopeful at least the drinks would be good. Nope...took forever, wrong and wasn't very good. We will definitely stop somewhere else next time. Very disappointing because the store itself seemed to be newer and in a great location. Management needs to step it up! read more

Oh joy! Oh rapture! Oh damn, there goes my diet. La Boulange has made it to Auburn! I tried their pastries two weeks ago in San Francisco and the barista told me they were working their way East. They have arrived! I had the amazing chocolate croissant. It is the perfect combination of crispy outer crust and buttery, tender insides wrapped around a piece of bittersweet chocolate heaven. The chocolate complements my caramel flan latte perfectly. These little beauties were easy to resist when they were on the other side of the country. Now it will be a lot harder - they are just down the street! read more

Not a good location to come to, unless you like to wait in line, repeat your order, then wait for your order to come out an hour later. Probably because this may be the one other Starbucks in this growing town. I usually make my orders right on the app so I can skip the line and walk straight to pick up. I often get annoyed stares from customers waiting in line ... 'Who the heck is this guy walking straight to pick up and getting his drink ... We have been waiting here for hours...' That's when I flash my phone ... 'Online order ... Don't worry I'm not cutting in line... Using the app to order ahead!' However, even if I order on the app ... I have to wait for my order for a while. Well any who, I always order the same thing, depending on my mood I switch the size from tall to grande or vice verse. I always order the dark roast, regular amount of soy, shot of espresso, and a pump of toffee. I usually come to this location when I'm passing through to visit my company's suppliers and warehouse. There are many ways they can improve the efficiency for this location and quality they produce. The baristas seem to be unorganized ... And do not know how to make drinks properly. Every time I've been to this location my coffee doesn't taste like it should. Coffee taste burnt, no slight sweetness or nuttiness from the toffee, no smoothness from the soy :( They definitely have room to improve ... Please improve. read more

Yesterday was the second time I asked for my money back because the staff here is super slow! I waited 30+ minutes for a Grande Iced Black Coffee- NO CREAM NO SUGAR. The cashier was rude and lazy. There was no one in line to take orders and he just stood around twiddling his thumbs. When I asked how much longer he told me don't you see the line? Well if he sees a line too why not go help instead of staring at the wall. Thanks Starbucks for a start to a crappy morning. read more

Perfectly located off the highway. I found it difficult locating a Starbucks in the area; I am used to seeing them more regularly, like every major corner. So I was thrilled to see how convenient this one was as I was getting on the road to head back to NC. It was clean, well stocked, and speedy. The employees were attentive and friendly. Way to go, Starbucks. Thanks for the latte and getting me on my way in a matter of minutes. read more

In my mind, this is really the only Starbucks in the Auburn Opelika area. There is one on campus but itis pretty much impossible to find parking when school is in season. There is also one in Target but who wants to deal with shoppers when all one wants is a cup of coffee. It is a great Starbucks, topped by the fact that it is open 24 hours. They make a mean hot chocolate and employees are always cheerful. Even when I have 10 orders to take back to the folks at work. Auburn needs another Starbucks but in the meantime I'm at least thankful we have a great one in Opelika. read more

The coffees were good but we had to repeat ourselves multiple times and it literally took us 35-40 minutes to get 2 drinks. Unbelievable and unacceptable! This starbucks is prime for its location. Right off the exit from the interstate, it's perfectly positioned for the weary traveler hoping to refuel on some caffeine for their extensive journeys or visits. While seating is not abundant, I typically don't struggle in trying to find a place to read or enjoy some free wifi. Starbucks has also always done a pretty magnificent job of staying on top of their menu with delictable choices. With that being said, it is nothing too extraordinarily different than any other starbucks. I always push for local, if you're in the area try the Overall Company, or Mama Mochas. But this starbucks ain't too shabby. read more
