The servers are very warm and friendly. They serve a delicious breakfast too (quiche, eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, etc.) fresh juice, tea, sandwiches and much more! Also, vegan friendly! It is a great spot to grab something on the go or to just sit, relax and take your time. There is indoor/outdoor seating available and they take reservations if you want to reserve a special spot. Everything is presented beautifully, even the dinnerware is charming... the plates, cutlery, and mugs are so cute and really add to the overall experience. Whether you are visiting Dusseldorf or a local resident, this place is fabulous!! If I could give it 10 stars I would! Enjoy!

I really enjoyed this little old dessert shop, which was right around the corner from our hotel…read more(Hotel Indigo). Service was friendly and welcoming despite my limited German language skills. There were a few other guests there, just sharing a gelato or small cup of coffee. I got one scoop of the Gianduia flavor gelato (hazelnut and chocolate-- similar to Nutella) in a waffle cone and it was the perfect way to end the evening.

This is easily the best tasting Ice Cream in Düsseldorf, and most likely in the world…read more The place ahs history, having been around for more than 90 years. It is run by a pair of brothers, one a bit chubbier and more jovial, and th eother skinny and a bit more stern faced. It seems like the skinnier brother si the mastermind behind mixing thier ice cream. They make it on premises with machines that are real old school. Vanilla is nothing more than milk, sugar, vanilla bean and eggs,a nd it is smooth and perfectyou can tell they use purer and better ingredients than anyone else. The decor could be considered in need of updating, but i like the neighbourhood cafe charm of the place. I go there at any opportunity, and their vanilla is the most vanillaish I ever had, their chocolate is the darkest and smoothest, their version of straciatella is called Granatella has the msot chocoalate chunks you could imagine,a dn their creation Torrone, whcih is basically the ingredients in the Toblerone Chocolate melts in your mouth. I am not the biggest fan of thier fruit flavoured ice creams, but the milk and chocolate ones are easily the best available.

When asked about this the staff didn't seem to care much. When we finally got our drink it was filled to the brim with ice to the point we could hardly taste what the drink was even supposed to be. I was craving an Acai bowl, one that would compare to my favorite at Whole Foods back home…read more After careful research, I found this place. I must say it was a very pleasant surprise. It is very quaint and intimate. Handful of tables and chairs to relax to enjoy the food while you read a book or get some work done on the computer. The menu is very easy to follow. They have both a German and English version, so no worries there. But I knew what I wanted so there wasn't much need to lose focus. My eyes did gaze to the glass incasement to the right of the register that offered other muffins, drinks, and cookies. But again, the Acai was the target. The ladies were very friendly and made sure there wasn't any confusion. I ordered the Acai bowl and gave them a tip for their service and politeness. As I waited for their preparation, I snapped a few photos of the cool spot. At last the Acai bowl arrived and the presentation was immaculate! This wasn't your typical Acai bowl. It had more seeds and other ingredients that I had never seen before. Every detail of the bowl was organized and carefully thought out, even to the clean finish of the passion fruit on top of the spoon. After one bite, I was in heaven. This was everything I wanted and more. I shortly devoured the bowl and made my way out. Acai bowl, smoothie, chia seed pudding, tea, muffins, cookies and more Greentrees has got you covered. Visit and enjoy!
