Idk service use to be better however their coffee is consistent Some Starbucks the coffee tastes (too water, or too sweet, too strong etc) changed by who's working. I've gone all hours morning to night for months now and this place always has extra STRONG but still sweet enough coffee. My favorites are white mocha or caramel macchiato cold or hot are both great, get it with a side of cake pop for a yummy treat! I'm always dissapointed whenever I get my coffee from any other Starbucks around the area, Tracy, Livermore and the closer to the bay you go the more watered down the coffee is!! Mid-day work meeting ended up here. Boss ordered my drink but I either forgot to tell her or she forgot to tell them that I wanted an iced coffee instead of hot. So I was just going up to the counter to ask for ice. But the guy there right away asked if he could make me a new one. I said no bother, you can just add ice as is. And he said it wasn't a bother and the taste would be better so he perferred to make me a new one. I gave in. I felt bad - it wasn't their fault but he was really nice to offer a new one. And then proceeded to ask me if I just wanted to keep the hot one. I said no. So with this interaction - this place won me over. It was really nice to go out of his way to fix me a new drink that was not their fault, for free! Thank you for renewing my faith in customer service! Starbucks really needs to figure out how to get a line moving. This is another location that is extremely slow. The fact that you spend as much on a coffee as you would an entire lunch at a fast food restaurant is robbery. The least these crooks could do is not steal a half hour from your life sitting in line. The employees have great customer service but this location in general is very slow. Every single time you go through the drive thru at this location, expect to spend 15-40 minutes of your time. This happens on most of my mornings where I'm running barely on time... Service is slow! With 2-3 people working the super long lined drive thru that leaves one person to the actual in store register.. Sometimes another half person.. Because one would be barely clocking on and the other is ready to be off! It does get pretty busy you have all the suited up men business men, the school moms, the business women and some occasional students coming in. Although it gets super busy the staff definitely seems to keep calm and mosey alongside each other. Some seem really chipper and like being your barista.. Which is a plus! read more

I had a free food item or beverage that was about to expire and decided to use this drive thru on 3/27/14- good call! I went w/ the blueberry oatmeal. Service was quick and professional Oatmeal was tasty- they give you a small container of blueberries, two packets of agave syrup, a nut/dried fruit packet, a spoon and away you go. I was happy this location could fulfill my free food item (wish they all carried the same items, would make things much easier) and I would revisit this location if in the area and hungry for something healthy. read more

All the reviews about this location being slow are 100 percent accurate. Slow inside and slower in the drive through... 20-30 minute wait times are common at the drive through at this location so don't go there if you're in a hurry. The staff are usually very friendly and sometimes that can go a long way for a business. However there still needs to be a basic level of competency for the operations of a store. This location clearly clearly lacks competency in basic multi tasking operations. Example: when it's 11:30am and you order a simple iced coffee at the drive through, and the lady takes your order without issue, and then you get to the window and the same lady says "we are out of iced coffee. Our shipments have been messed-up lately."... I'm sorry what? Number one, it's Iced coffee. Stop. You're a place that sells coffee. Number two, how could you not know that at 11:30am (cant be the first one to order and iced coffee that day) when you took my order earlier? Incompetent. Now you're waiting for them to make a new drink. No wonder the drive through is so slow. Most Starbucks customers don't read Yelp reviews. But maybe a member of Starbucks management who actually cares about improving operations of their stores will read all these bad reviews for this location and take some action. read more

I'm giving this starbuck a 1 Star due to its inconsistency with pricing. I ordered the same coffee 2 days in a row and was charge two different prices for the same drink( both venti). When I questioned them about the $2 increase I was told prices went up . In 2 days !!! I am literally always in here studying. I really like this location's layout. It's clean, there's a decent amount of outlets and the wall art speaks to me LOL. There does seem to be a high turn around of employees, so I can't speak to who is nice or not but I've been coming here since it opened and I really don't have anything bad to say. I always picture myself strolling in and having the barista say "the usual?", but it never happens. It could be because I don't have a "usual", but that's neither here nor there. When I had gone to to previous Starbucks on my way to work looking for my favorite breakfast sandwich I called to see if they had any in stock I spoke to the manager and he insured me that not only did they have the sandwich, but they would put one aside for me because I was on my way and it was free of charge for going through the trouble. I absolutely love this location. I've tried other Starbucks in town and they just don't stack up. The ONLY reason I'm not giving it a 5 star rating is because sometimes during peek, they can be pretty slow. I am pretty patient, but I know long waits can be annoying to some people who are in a hurry to get to work, school, etc. Other than that, I don't have a single complaint. The baristas are very friendly, and they make you feel welcome and valued as a customer. Which is refreshing to me, considering most stores in Manteca has very snotty baristas! No half and half, but they did give me a small cup of half and half, and it was almost enough. This location just lost a loyal everyday customer. For the fourth time within 1 month this Starbucks had their mobile ordering turned on yet when I arrived to pick up, there is a HAND WRITTEN note on the LOCKED front door saying to use the drive through to pick up your order. I am well aware that COVID has effected staffing, but that is no excuse for not turning off the mobile ordering for the day if the lobby will be closed. This has literally happened 4 times within 1 month. The first and second time I just figured it was an accident, people make mistakes. The third time I was a little annoyed considering it was the third time it happened within 3 weeks. Mobile ordering is to cut down wait time for the customer. The driver through took 20 minutes because the espresso bar was also down which effected how quickly they could make drinks. Turn off the mobile order if your lobby will be closed. Corporate will be hearing about this, management needs to get it together. 4 times is no excuse, just poor, negligent management read more

Well leave it to these guys to screw-up again. Giving them a second and third chance and they still can't take care of the customer on any level. I did a mobile order on my way to work and when I get there 10 minutes later, they have a sticker on the drink, but no drink made and there was no lines,drive thru or inside.
