I went in with my sister so she could order a Caramel Frappuccino and in our 28 minute wait for a single beverage, we had a horrible experience. When Starbucks prides themself on "customer connections" then their baristas should be talking and conversing with customers so it doesn't feel like such a long wait, not being condescending to them for asking questions or requesting that beverages be remade. I had their shift supervisor come out and be rude with an attitude, I saw a barista steam almond milk then preceded to steam regular milk without cleaning the steam want or even cleaning it !!! This is usually my go-to Starbucks. Something rubbed me wrong on my last visit. I ordered ahead on the app. I was deciding to either pick up in the store or go through the drive through. I was already late for the estimated pick up time so I decided to just walk in and grab my drink. When pulling in, I saw a black truck at the end of the drive through thinking I'd beat him because I ordered ahead and was already a few minutes after the pick up time. I walked in and sat patiently. Mine wasn't ready yet & there was a sticker hanging on one of the machines. I watched the barista make drinks from 5 newly printed tickets. I feel that if I didn't ask to check my order, I would have been sitting forever. The barista's response was that she hadn't been able to catch up on orders...after I saw 5 new stickers print while mine sat stuck to a machine. When leaving, no more black truck. So if I would have pulled in the drive through, I would have been gone faster. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Don't order ahead of time cause it's not ready when it says it's estimated to be ready, you'll wait an additional 15-30 minutes. My husband and I went shopping at Costco on August 21, and decided to get a drink from the Starbucks that close by. We usually have great service there. This time they messed up our order. The young man seemed to be rather annoyed to begin with and when you told him our order was wrong he seemed to get even more annoyed. Grabbed the drinks, closed the window really quick. OMG! Mobile ordered. Was supposed to be ready at 10:08. See people come and go, after 20 minutes pat the time it was supposed to be ready I ask. They tell me oh we are working on it now. The crew at this location are some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. They usually are very busy between the drive through and lobby orders but if you order ahead they will often have your drinks/food ready by the time you arrive and they are always in a good mood! If I could give zero stars I would. It's absolutely horrible. They put 2% in my almond milk drink then when they realized they put 2% in it they didn't even make new one. So I got half 2% and half almond milk. I had the Starbucks on Union and Yosemite remake it. Glad to say I will be going there. This location is my "go to" location and have always had great service, clean and product is spot on every time. I guess you don't really appreciate how great they are until you go to another location. I had the chance to visit another location and WOW! This other location handled the tea bags with their hands, this location always uses tongs. The do not double cup, this location does. Not only does it help with how hot a cup full of boiling water feels, double cupping holds the tea bags in place when you go to add sweetener. At this other location when I took the top off the tea bags (handled by hands) fell into my tea. I did ask about the single cup and they said they don't "have" to double cup. These may be small things but it's the little things that keep you coming back. Love this store, thank you for the little things you do for your customers. It's APPRECIATED! read more

Out of all of the Starbucks in Manteca this the one I'll drive to even if it's a distance. The Baristas are the best around particularly Sophie! Drive-thru! Woohoo! Conveniently located in Manteca, roughly the halfway point to Yosemite from the Peninsula! This one lived up to my expectation of warm, fun customer service. I'm going to meet this Starbucks in the middle and give it three stars. I've basically come to realize that every other trip in here will be good...and that's ok, the good service definitely makes up for the bad. 1st trip: K-Fed's long lost cousin working the drive -thru, screwing up beverages left and right. It's the drive thru, one shouldn't lose 20 minutes of their life in this line! 2nd trip: AMAZING!! Give me 24 hour Starbucks and I will give you a five star review. This location has a lobby that is open until 1130 in the evening. The drive-through is open 24 hours a day. They run out of cold venti cups really fast though. I ordered a Venti and they had to give me two talls. All in all, this was a good place. They were very friendly and welcoming since my friends car broke down near this exit. If you are a trucker or passing through the area, just get off at this exit and go through their 24 Hour Dr. through.
