Easy to access from El Torro Road, and located close to two of the major supermarkets - Stater Bros and Grocery Outlet. The Starbucks at Sycamore Plaza has come to be my favorite place away from home. The staff there are incredibly personable and Intune with the likes and needs of their customers. Juan, Kota, Danie, Sonny, lead a magnificent crew with the friendly team of Maya, Emma, Oat, Nickel, Lillian and so many more! Even The district manager Ashley has taken the time to learn my name. the others all know my favorite order because they care about the service they provide to the community. If there were any drawback is that sometimes it's standing room only because it is a popular place, but we all know when peak hours are so plan ahead and they will still get your drink quickly. read more

Just your normal, average Starbucks on El Toro and Trabuco. They don't have the pick up option through your Starbucks app over here. There is a little bit of seating area inside and outside, and parking is not that difficult. It's a clean store, they have everything you can get in any of the other stores (except for the peppermint mocha twice in the last week). Nothing to brag about the store with your friends and neighbors, but it's a nice, clean Starbucks. read more

Finally, I approach the young lady making the coffees to see if the last item is coming and she yells for the last item. We both notice the item I stated was in the bag, but another item was missing and she says 'well, if you want that item you'll just have to go back around and pay for it since it doesn't look like she rung it up.' Not only was that moment a reflection of the fact that they didn't care about the customers time, but now I am some how at fault for the cashiers error. I love their curbside pick up option- it was a huge plus during the height of the pandemic when I was avoiding going into store unnecessarily and it continues to be helpful post vaccinations/with numbers getting a bit more under control. Popped out during my lunch break today to run an errand and ordered in the app for curbside pickup to grab on my way back home- my drink was ready right as scheduled, tasted perfect, and was delivered to my car by a friendly face moments after I clicked the "i'm here" button in my app. Thank you to the baristas at this location for delivering great service! :) read more

I want update my review because I had a great experience today! The two young girls working were super great in helping me decide what I wanted because I really didn't know. They were friendly, engaging and warm. I don't usually come here because in years past, service wasn't very good. Today, I have to say it's the best I've ever had and I look forward to returning and hopefully same two girls will be there because I enjoyed talking with them. Showed up this morning at 5:05 and the door was unlocked and open; however, after waiting 5 minutes it seemed as though the worker must have opened the store and walked out or no one closed it last night which I find hard to believe. We all left; however, there was a car parked in the lot and Starbucks was the only store open with lights on. This incredible barista with platinum blonde hair a septum piercing and moon neckland has to be the worst I have encountered. I stood there listening to her make excuses for lack of knowledge of how to make a cup of coffee. I said nothing as she went on and on. Came here for an informal business meeting to discuss matters over a cup of coffee. It's a small location with a handful of 2-tops inside (inhabited by laptop users) and a few patio tables outside. There was one available table inside but only one chair so I asked a person who was using a chair as a footrest if I could use it but was met with a silent glare. So, not feeling it was worth an altercation, we were forced to sit outside on this chilly day. The person taking our orders was quick and efficient except that he was not taking names to put on the cups which I always thought was standard Starbucks protocol. So the faint-voiced barista was putting finished drinks on the counter while quietly announcing what the drink was. Not able to hear her, no one had a clue if the drink was theirs or not. Fairly quickly there were 4 or 5 drinks sitting there and everyone was picking them up and looking at them, trying to figure out if it was their drink or not. Very confusing. We had to call the barista over and ask her to tell us what was what...and even she wasn't sure. Luckily I guessed right and got my white chocolate mocha. It was okay. But having just visited Portola Coffee Roasters a few days prior I could really tell the difference between legitimately GOOD coffee and this stuff I was now drinking. Great location. Very friendly staff and even when they are busy the drinks come out quickly and are tasty. My smores frappe was perfect, my husband enjoyed the caramel waffle cone. While I do prefer local coffee shops, you can't beat their frappe happy hour where all drinks are half off, $2.50 for a large drink makes it the best price around and along with needing to try their seasonal flavors those are the only two reasons I come here. Clean with plenty of seating, parking lot can be a mess though. read more

I liked the atmosphere and coziness of this particular Starbucks. But, I stayed with my friends for about 45min. and we were told three times that the Starbucks is closing soon. One from an employee about 45. min before closing time and twice 20 min. before closing time by two different employees. I've gone in twice now (out of many times) when they've been crazy busy and it took forever to get my mobile order. Yesterday I put in my order at 7:37am. By 8:05 I was looking over the counter, still saw my drink nowhere in sight (nearly 30 mins later), and I had to refund my order and rush to where I was now running late. There were about 15 cups on the counter from I think people who had given up on their drinks and had to leave early. Given- *all staff were extremely friendly and apologetic *there were multiple people picking up large orders to bring back to a group *when I asked for a refund to leave they took care of me right away This has happened 2x now, so while it's a friendly place I wouldn't recommend it during peak hours. read more

With how many Starbucks that are in the area, I would go to a different one. I worked at a high volume Starbucks with a drive through and large cafe for 2 years, so I get that the job can be pretty hard and demanding at times, but there's no reason to be in THAT bad of a mood with your customers. They over-ice and under-pour at this location consistently, so the venti you spent $5 on has the same amount of liquid as a tall. When they hand you your cup it's a sticky, wet mess. And this is when there's no one in the cafe! It doesn't matter how rushed or relaxed they are, they still make the drink wrong and hand it off a complete mess. I used my app to order a bag of medium roast coffee with a course grind for my French press. I was ordering to pick up on my way to work so I could treat my coworkers. When I arrived they had a bag with my name on it with nothing in it, they said they were out. I picked another medium roast and explicitly asked to make sure it was a coarse grind. They started grinding it then stopped and asked a lady (manager?) something and she waved them off and said "It's fine". Later I found that they had ground the coffee into a fine powder instead of the coarse grind like I'd asked so our small corporate brunch had no French press coffee to go with the rest of the stuff brought by the others.
